The Wellington (very close to Lyceum) is worth a look.

Blows my mind that they were able to build the lighthouse in those consitions in the first place.

Those are all within 2 minutes of me - The Duke is definitely the pick of the bunch. On top of the ones mentioned, Queens Larder on Queen Square is worth a look and The Rugby Tavern is massively improved now they've got new people running it. (Perseverance does a very good pizza if you can get a table).

I've never seen Baby Reindeer and only figured out who she was after I'd told her that I had no interest in what she was telling me and asked her to leave. One for our US foxes - I’ve been watching a load of American cop cam videos on YouTube and whenever they’ve pulled over a suspected drunk driver, rather than spending 20 seconds doing a breathaliser to see if they’re over the limit, they spend 30 minutes walking someone back and forth, touching their nose and following a pen light with their eyes on a very arbitrary field sobriety test on the side by the road to see if their sober. Why so convoluted?

Definitely. Got given a free ticket to see Widowspeak in 2017 and went with no real expectations. Seen them live a couple of times since and the've been brilliant each time.

I want him gone but sadly I can’t seeing him going any time soon. Reality is we signed him simply because he was ‘free’ and we didn’t have to pay any compensation to another club. Sacking him is an admission that they went for the third choice cheapest option and it hasn’t worked. If they sack him now there would have to be some accountability for his hiring from higher up in the organisation but that will never happen. I reckon we’re stuck with him for a few more months.
