I want him gone but sadly I can’t seeing him going any time soon. Reality is we signed him simply because he was ‘free’ and we didn’t have to pay any compensation to another club. Sacking him is an admission that they went for the third choice cheapest option and it hasn’t worked. If they sack him now there would have to be some accountability for his hiring from higher up in the organisation but that will never happen. I reckon we’re stuck with him for a few more months.

Anything I can do to stop dogs peeing on something? I've got 2 planters outside my shop on quite a busy street and one of the planters has become an unofficial pissing post for evey single dog that walks down the street. Wouldn't particulalry both me if it was the odd dog here and there but it's leaving a constant mess and is killing the plants.

Very good article in The New Yorker about the case published on 13th May - for some reason it wasn't allowed to be published in the UK though. (I read it via 12ft ladder). Definitely raised a few questions for me. That being said, I think she had a hand in some of the tragic deaths.

Hadn’t heard of him until a few days ago but

Came up to Leicester for the day on Tuesday to see mates for the first time in ages and was really sad to see how dead town was. Went to the TTL and it was closed, few beers in Rutland & Derby - people in before the Tranmere game but not particularly busy. Real Ale Classroom, Exchange and Tonne - when 3 of us walked in, we doubled the clientele straight away. I’d forgotten how pretty parts of the city are but it was really disheartening to see the entire town centre so quiet.
