  1. Cooper had a plan it was just bad, push one wing back really high to make a 4 behind the striker and have the other sit in, it’s why Justin looked totally shite under him, was just a bad plan. Marti made a line up and then wished the boys good luck for the most part, only coherent role in the end was James as the 8
  2. King has come out and been very adamant it is too soon and he is only interim. Think they wanted to stick with Marti for the window and then focus on a manager but it became untenable, think the plan was always to finish the window then find our manager (shit plan)
  3. Think it’s just delayed, sounded last night like Lascelles and Mukasa were put through much earlier, think this one was extremely last minute so likely to be at the back of the backlog. If it fails we will hear about it quickly from the journos who reported it initially as they won’t want to lose any credibility
  4. Agreed but we literally do not have another fit senior cb, and I don’t want to watch Aluko have to deal with Brum and Southampton at centre half at all, wouldn’t be fair on him, he should be a right back or in a back 3 remainder of the season
  5. Has to be Lascelles and Nelson, makes too much sense, Nelson was better at Oxford with an experienced head next to him who lead the line, we don’t have anyone doing that atm, just have to pray he stays fit
  6. Reads like a permanent deal but for 6 months, actually feels sensible for this mess of a club, reassess in the summer
  7. Explore the free market for a full back, another striker as Richards looks to be more of a winger and if we have the cash a right back or a defensive midfielder
  8. Going to be very interesting if the two young lads hit the ground running when Ramsey and James are back, considering how thin we are in midfield for Aribo
  9. Think with Richards it could be one we look to make permanent if he is successful come the summer, already 20 and they have a stockpile of strikers
  10. Richards has gone through and the implication in wha O’rourke said was that Lascelles was a safer bet… surely means it has gone through too
  11. Only hope is you feel if Romano initially released the story he’d be all over it collapsing
  12. Noticed this, either has been done for a while and waiting to announce or it’s fallen through
  13. This is a very fair point, I’m hoping he is still a big hard bastard and has brain on him, as his past issues were more down to his technicality in the ball. I’m hoping for a less brain dead but slower Okoli
  14. Could very well be but I don’t judge a player until they have played for us, had plenty of older signings work out very well for us I.e Huth, Morgan, Evans, Cambiasso, as well as some duds. I als don’t like lumping them in together, for me Reid shouldn’t be in the same sentence as the other two, he does try he just isn’t up to it, other two are absolute pony and put in nothing
  15. Different type of player, could absolutely be a crock but he is big, looks to have been quick and suits a back 4, Coady was a back 3 merchant who was good on the ball and vocal. Think even if Lascelles is off the pace at worst he will be able to win headers and knock about the lumps in this league that have been terrorising us I.e Dykes, Kieffer Moore etc
  16. Longer the three deals we currently have in the pipeline take the bigger the concern that we are just waiting on these and plan on nothing more happening
  17. We won’t sell Fatawu after the window is shut and unfortunately unless we pull a striker out of our warden before this evening I think they’ll just let Daka run his contract down
  18. Think the options are untested raw youngsters like Mukasa or guys like him. Have Mukasa in but at least Aribo is a seasoned pro even if he is a bit crap. Will be better than having Page and Choudhury sat deep as a pair if we lose Skipp/James/Mukasa again
  19. Him, Souttar and Nelson are a good first choice 3, Okoli as back up and Vestegaard can leave
  20. Might be wrong but thought he had committed to a contract to be signed when he is 18, thought that meant he was tied onto it
  21. Could swear I saw something saying the initial will be around 4 points and any extra deduction will be for not assisting in the investigation, think it lands between 4-7, don’t think the prem or EFL will want another loud and potentially embarrassing saga here, think they will want something severe but also something that our lot will accept
  22. If we do manage to get a striker in on top of the other 3 I’d be ok with the window, if we by a miracle do a LB and striker it’s a good window and if we do Mads on top of it and Enzo as manager I will make the pilgrimage to the Vatican and thank god for blessing us with a miracle (I’m atheist)
  23. Think Nelson is more likely to go then Monga, he only has 18 months left on his deal, we have Monga tied to a contract so for a buying team it’s less of a bargain to do the deal before he has had a couple of years playing than it would’ve been, could still leave but think we will keep him
  24. Could go for Uche at Palace, has looked good off the bench but they are using Johnson up top whilst Nketiah and Mateta aren’t available. Another could be Osula from Newcastle for similar reasons, or that 18 year old Brentford brought in recently
