He’ll be ok in France with Monaco, will hit his strengths, just don’t think the English leagues suited him, way too physical. Stupid question I’m sure but how does that work out? Genuinely did not know this, I’d assumed any money whilst still a loss would be better than just releasing the player. PSR is such a confusing mess to the layman

Any fee would be a net positive for PSR as apposed to keeping him, it would just mean less of a loss which still frees up funds

Think the academy has proved pretty massively from the days of King and Schlupp. You are right that per academy class you can’t expect more than two or three but the listed players have a large spread of ages across 7ish years, I think from that 10 at least 6/7 make good championship/premier league careers- Page, Aluko, Braybrooke, Nelson, Monga all look around the level needed for championship already (Aluko may be a stretch). Others will begin lower down and rise, for example Callum Elder starts a good amount for Derby who are a solid championship side, Johansson at Stoke, and we don’t consider them because they don’t hit their stride here and haven’t made an impact in the prem
