Anything would be great at this point 😂 4 weeks to the new season we have no manager, no coaching staff, no kits, no sales, no money. Honestly it is impressive at this point especially considering we weren’t even waiting until July for the FFP stuff with Ruud
-
If we sell off Kristiansen could be a good deal although with Cifuentes using both full backs to tuck in to the midfield could really suit JJ out at left back where he played his best footy for us
-
Hermansen(Stolarczyk more likely as he’ll be gone) Ricardo Nelson Okoli Justin Winks Ndidi(Skipp more likely as he’ll be gone) Fatawu BEK Mavididi Daka Subs- Stolarczyk(Bausor if Mads leaves) Souttar 2 of VK, Thomas, Coulibaly or Aluko(that is my preferred order) Soumare(if sold Braybrooke) Skipp Monga Alves McAteer Players like Evans, Braybrooke, Wilson-Brown, Page, Golding, Wanya etc pushing to be in and around the squad New striker in for either a full back or winger Sell all the older lads not there potentially except Ayew and one of the cbs for depth
-
Any idea why Wilson Brown is listed as a midfielder and Joseph a forward? Aren’t both defenders
-
Could definitely see Cifuentes going for him and Nelson as our starters for the ball playing, think Coady is gone and think Faes will want to be gone too, think we keep Vestegaard as the experienced head
-
Happy with Cifuentes, young and upcoming, would rather we lose the playoffs and go up next year with something maintainable than go up with Dyche or Wilder and be a hanger on/ relegation scrap muck for the foreseeable
-
What frustrates me is in the article the implication is that we are now rushing to get someone in this week after waiting the best part of three months since relegation doing nothing
-
It does mention others, think he’s just naming the not commonly known names on it, think those two Rohl and Dyche are probably the list
-
Respect your opinion but disagree, I know a couple of guys being paid to play, they are ego’s who will throw the toys out but they are also ego’s who understand their career trajectories, one thing getting relegated from the prem, entire other kettle of fish getting relegated from it, and they will know they have a lot to lose from it. Kaminski at Luton had a whole raft of bids for him last summer from top leagues, will be playing next year for newly promoted Charlton. Even if there is a malaise I don’t see anyone downing tools and damaging their careers like that, without even getting into pro athletes and their pride
-
Even if we don’t make any signings we have the bones of the squad that dominated the league last time, what makes you think we won’t be close to play offs besides problems with our ownership and how we are ran? Our most limited squad options would be seen as coups for most championship sides if they were to sign them
-
Do not see this at all, if we need cash we have players like BEK with the clause, Hermansen, no need whatsoever for him to go
-
See it as a like for like for KDH the last time we were here, makes a lot of sense on a free and if we go up at least we would have depth
-
The programme subscription at the top works out to £5.60 per programme, who is actually paying that
-
They’ve given him 3 years, unlucky lads, going to take a few months before the twitch anytime our first choice does anything slightly rigorous leaves me
-
Centre half Bernard is meant to be decent and fairly young, youth keeper Charles is highly rated, Valery is scum but wouldn’t be shocked if Ricky P moves on

Where Will Our Squad Be Playing Next Season?
LCFCCKEANO replied to General Smuts's topic in Transfer Talk
Mads Hermansen - West Ham Danny Ward - Wrexham Jakub Stolarczyk - LCFC Wout Faes - Lazio Conor Coady - Rangers Caleb Okoli - LCFC Jannik Vestergaard - LCFC Harry Souttar - LCFC Ben Nelson - LCFC Victor Kristensen - Everton Ricardo Pereira - LCFC Luke Thomas - LCFC James Justin - LCFC Woyo Coulibaly - LCFC Olubade Aluko - LCFC Boubakary Soumare - Napoli Wilfred Ndidi - Man United Harry Winks - LCFC Oliver Skipp - LCFC Sammy Braybrooke - LCFC Hamza Choudhury - LCFC Michael Golding - Loan to Burton Brandon Cover - Wigan Bilal El Khannouss - AC Milan Stephy Mavididi - LCFC Kasey McAteer - LCFC Jeremy Monga - LCFC Will Alves - LCFC Abdul Fatawu - LCFC Bobby De Cordova Reid - LAFC Wanya Marcal - Loan to Northampton Jordan Ayew - LCFC Jamie Vardy - West Ham Patson Daka - LCFC Jake Evans - LCFC -
Add to this for all the shit this club puts us through last two summers we have brought in some unknown prospect at a reasonable price who have outplayed their price, would not be shocked if we pulled a decent striker or cm out of our arse ala Fatawu/BEK
-
That would be 4 that they’ve brought in this week. Being a Leicester fan is an abusive relationship
-
Going to Derby alongside Carlton Morris 😂😂😂 we are now worse at bringing in players than Derby, what a life
-
Think the longer he goes without getting employed the higher the chance he does come here, I am certain Boro would’ve taken him over Edwards, story was he was on their shortlist but at no point does it mention him having interest
-
Think this is the state of most if not all of English football ownership outside of the rare example. Sad way for things to shake out but at this point I desperately hope that some American sports team owner looks to buy us on the cheap ala Leeds/Brum and turn us around. I spent a lot of time in America in the early 2020’s and late 2010’s and a lot of sentiment exists with us, as that was the time period football became big over there, and a lot of the people I’d speak to saw us as big fish, which ultimately could save us. The time is now as that sentiment is probably fading, we need the club selling next year or two in an ideal world. Wonder if the statue of Vichai survives a sale
-
Think we need two, one on loan with potential to buy and another permanent… if the Fotis stuff is to believed him and then Kone would be ideal
-
Think Dyche would be fine for a year or two then we would have to sack him, think Rohl would do the same then someone would buy him out, and imagine the footy will be more attractive with Rohl and players would be more attracted to sign for him… footballers are just people the same as anyone, and they will have a similar perspective on Dyche vs Rohl as many of us have, as disliked as that may be by some here
-
Makes me happy, hope it hurt his feelings, the guy is one a one man crusade to be less liked than the pope at Ibrox in Leicester
-
Think it will be Rohl or someone similarly young and driven, just don’t see us going for Dyche, would be a PR disaster that the club just can not afford right now, need someone marketable to try to bring back some of the sales they have lost
