  1. Mike Stowell? Or see if Evans (or Vardy) wanted to be interim player-manager for a few weeks
  2. One big melting pot
  3. Ok actual last one
  4. I'll stop now
  5. Couldn't be arsed to animate the mouth or owt
  6. There was definitely some pretty strong rumours about ours at Humphreys. Obviously won't put a name out in case he was innocent, but a couple of credible witnesses say they saw him out and about with a couple of the year 9 girls
  7. First time I think I've ever not given a single shit about a decent player leaving
  8. Same thing at KFC. I swear the order I made the other day was about £3 more than it was just 3 or 4 months ago, one large meal and a couple of extra hotwings
  9. I'd highly recommend the 2000-2002 ZX-6R as a first big bike. Much more comfortable than an R6 but similar spec. Loads were produced and because it was never as sought after as the R6/CBR600RR you should be able to find a good low-mileage one for a good price, and they're great reliability-wise Although I'd recommend taking it easy for a bit having not ridden in a while, 600's are perfect for being plenty quick enough without being too intimidating Also worth considering what sort of riding you'll be doing. Although big nakeds are a lot of fun, if you're doing any sort of long motorway usage or high speed rides, the lack of a fairing means you're exposed to all the wind and rain which can be a pain in the arse. But if you're planning on just messing around on weekends in nice weather, absolutely go for it Just my 2p anyway
  10. Yeah I bought mine and put it in storage hoping it would one day be worth a mint. It might still be worth something in years to come when they become rarer but they tend to sell for about £10 at auction. Low demand and probably thousands still in circulation
  11. Fvcky Fvckson Or Fvckan Fvckhim Jr Fvckadoo
  12. Oh yeah I wouldn't recommend eating them regularly but one or two a year at a barbecue it's worth it
  13. I think he'd have a really mundane job like office block/hotel receptionist, on the side he vanity-publishes terrible books on life-hacks/amateur photography/anything, and he'd tell people he's an author (even though he sells probably £100 worth of books per quarter) And he writes reviews for his books on Amazon under pseudonyms. Rodger Brendans - "this is the best book on bonsai trees bar none. 5/5"
  14. Honest to god, that is genuinely a great invention. Tip - use 1 glazed doughnut cut in half (2 is overkill), a proper barbecued burger. Wouldn't recommend too much in the way of fillings besides mild cheese/plastic cheese single and ketchup (normally I love raw onions and gherkins in a burger but you have to treat the doughnut burger differently). Surprisingly good Apparently it was invented by Luther Vandross when he was on tour, it's often referred to as the Luther burger
  15. I've never bothered before but starting to take advantage of some of these current account switching bonuses. Just applied for a First Direct switch (gets £175 in a month if you meet the criteria), after I get that, and providing it's still available, Santander offer £160 for a switch, then Halifax for £150. Should at least offset the bloody energy bill difference for the rest of the year
  16. Any of those reels/stories/shorts that do that, or use that TikTok robot woman voice, or feature a dog with "chimken"/"henlo"/any of that shit, or start with "Wait til the end", or are that format of someone filming themselves playing 2 roles (or just filming themselves in general) I close immediately. Social media is pretty much a clogged drain at this point, just a massive clump of faeces, pubic hair and flushed Wet Wipes
  17. Like the others though, Sky only offer 65Mbps where I live (and only guaranteed for 30 or so), if it was the lower end of that I'd really notice the drop. But yeah Virgin's customer service has nosedived in recent years
  18. Cheers, Virgin gave me a good renewal price in the end, plus when I was on the phone I looked at the small print for the other packages - I get a genuine 100Mbps+ pretty much all the time with Virgin, all the other providers in my area claim to offer 65Mbps but only guarantee 25-30 so working from home (and having to download/upload sometimes several GB files) my hand was sort of forced. I'll bear Vodafone in mind next time my contract is up though
  19. Trying to get through to Virgin Media to cancel my fibre (contract ends in a month and then price skyrockets), have had multiple outages over the last couple of months and keep getting kicked off Xbox games (and it never happens when I switch to using phone hotspot, so must be a problem with the internet) Got through after being on hold for 20 minutes, then the guy on the line said his computer had logged out so he'd call me right back. That was 20 minutes ago, so now I'm in the fvcking queue again with the most irritating hold music. Their customer service used to be great, what the hell happened? On the same page, going to switch to either Vodafone or Now Broadband as their prices are both very good (and Vodafone are offering a £120 gift card atm) - has anyone used either of these before and were they ok? Trustpilot etc are largely useless for reviews for this kind of thing as people only tend to leave reviews when they've had bad service, so all broadband providers tend to average 2-3 out of 5 for customer satisfaction
  20. My friend is well into lawns and I'd mentioned that I'd quite like artificial as I cba with the maintenance of my lawn. He said forget it, it'd render the garden out of bounds for my dog on hot days (e.g. an actual lawn on a hot day tends to stay around 35-40°c, artificial lawns can reach upwards of 65°c)
