Play offs could potentially be a bin fire. Either Leeds or Ipswich who will have bottled it, Southampton in dreadful form, West Brom in dreadful form (although looked good last week) and then Norwich. Hull could do it with a win today but even then they’re hardly setting the world alight.

Easter Monday was genuinely sickening. We’d just smashed Norwich after the Bristol City mess, but Ipswich got the 125th minute winner v Saints and Leeds got a late win v Hull despite playing terribly. I thought it was over that night and felt quite down.

While he leads with his philosophy, by all accounts he’s a great man manager. He’s also been humble enough to let the ‘leaders’ call some shots over the last few weeks. Vardy and Coady’s interventions have been crucial and it takes balls to do that as a manager as we know from Brendan’s time here that not all managers enjoy vocal changing rooms.

If that someone else is Carlo Ancelotti, Pep Guardiola or Jurgen Klopp then you’re correct. The one thing we’ve seen over the past few weeks in the league and FA cup is that Enzo ball is more than a match for good teams, it’s the crap who sit back who we struggle to beat. That won’t be an issue in the Prem.

Draw wouldn’t be a disaster. Would leave us needing one point from two games. QPR are decent even in the games they’ve lost recently.

Interesting bit in the press today about Vardy calling a team meeting and the outcome being that players weren’t taking attacking risks. Two games on and Abdul has had 5 goal involvements. I don’t think it’s a coincidence. He needs to back himself more because his potential ceiling is elite.
