  1. If we play the full overs and bat through, we could get 500 today the rate we’re going. Doubt we will but you never know.
  2. Little stat but we’ve scored 13 hundreds in the championship this season, but only once has a player gone past 150 (Hill151). That’s something to work on I guess. Rishi could’ve really gone big on this
  3. Thanks, got myself to the gym this morning and had a good chat with my boss. It’s gonna be a struggle but I’ve crossed a couple of bridges. Still very anxious of course.
  4. The 22 that just came on is Mussolini’s great grandson and I’m not even joking.
  5. I need to open up as I’m really struggling. I’m drinking too much and drinking to cope. I’m paranoid, I’m anxious, I’m functioning terribly. Something needs to change but I have no idea what. I’m off work today ‘ill’ but really I’m too anxious to face the world, and I’ve already had a couple of beers this morning. How have people turned it around from here?
  6. I’d give Budinger a one year contract given he’s still youngish and there’s an excellent player in there. He just needs to learn to rein it in at times.
  7. It’s funny that we were all waiting to see if the goal stood or not when there was literally zero reason why it wouldn’t.
  8. You’re thinking of Vassell at Cov. Wasn’t his debut but first game of the season when we basically had a brand new squad.
  9. If he’s anything like Nick Cotton he’d be great at shooting and putting people in the box
  10. That’s the worst miss I’ve ever seen
  11. He’s well annoying isn’t he. Just say “it’s a goal” like the good old days before the woke took over
  12. No reason to think at this stage that United won’t be in the relegation battle. MCFC beating them in first gear, barely scraping past Burnley. Just an atrocious footballing team.
  13. Apologies if this is insensitive but I’ve only just seen the news, is it presumed to be related to his mental health? Im devastated, we talk about working class heroes and those who stand up for those for those who don’t have a voice, especially in the current climate where it’s so toxic. The Hitman WAS the ultimate hero to lads of a certain time period. We all loved and felt his wins, and picked him up after his losses aware of stuff that was bigger than boxing. Most of all he was brave, he lived his struggles and he pushed regardless. RIP champ.
  14. That Sheffield United performance reminded me of our 6-1 at Pompey all those years ago. Absolutely honking.
  15. Gun culture is still the/a main issue here. In 99% of countries in the world, if you want to murder someone you disagree with, you have to go properly out of your way both physically and emotionally. Stab wounds for example are survivable in most cases. When you have easy access to weapons that can blow people’s heads off from 500m away, it actually overcomes a lot of psychological barriers that prevent people from murdering in the first place.
  16. They’ll be under scoreboard pressure so very unlikely, like the ODI the other day. But, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a pitch do less for the bowlers, it didn’t swing, it hasn’t seamed, it’s not spinning. Might as well bowl with a tennis ball.
  17. We could genuinely get 300 here
  18. this is quite funny tbf
  19. Blast not one day cup! But still very exciting! Makes sense if we’re going to be seeing less of Rehan and I didn’t realise how good his record was in CC cricket before.
  20. Maharaj announcement at 4?
  21. I sometimes find the more benign the story, the more wild the conspiracy theories get. This will be a lone wolf guy with access to a high velocity rifle, if he didn’t have access to the latter, this would never have happened and Charlie Kirk would still be alive.
  22. Yes come to think of it, he didn’t come out of the Carberry situation well.
  23. I agree Nico is a great guy, club legend and clearly great at the man management side of things (mostly) but Thomas has taken us to a higher level. If anything we’d stalled a bit under Nico by the time he left.
  24. Of course I meant Birkenshaw but back then the captain was basically the coach. Have seen Birkenshaw down GR a couple of times this season. I hope he’s buzzing today.
  25. The mental thing about America is that’ll be someone who has strange but not totally insane views who unfortunately has access to high powered rifles.
