Indication of traditional arts doing badly in Leicester. I would be surprised if the comedy festival runs next year.

I work in a field that may be impacted by what you’re describing and more needs to be done. It’s the attitude you are responding to that is causing significant harm. Legislation needs to be updated to ensure there is further protection for trees, in addition to stronger policy stopping the increase in hard standing to the front of people’s homes.

Nice. Seems genuine. Unfortunately, his enthusiasm will soon be broken.
-
The fact it is called the Western ‘Bar’ sums up how badly run it has been. Incredibly eggy pints.
-
Doesn’t say what job he has ‘landed’ though.

As in the current staff are really good and lot of people go in because of them!

Sounds like two tailed lion is struggling. They need to keep their staff otherwise they’re done.

Probably somewhere in the UK.

He’s joining a team that will be a divisional rival. He’s good enough for us now. -

Bit disappointed in this as would have liked to have seen him play for us in this division. Now we’ll see him play against us fo a division rival. -
It’s not strange why pubs close in Leicester. The demographic is massively changing more than any city this size in the UK(rightly or wrongly). Add in the national trend for people drinking less, the pubs in Leicester are doing well to stay open. I have really enjoyed this thread. I wish I was born in the mid 80s rather than mid 90s.

Surely all you need to drink in Norfolk is a pint of Wherry?
-
Any suggestions for one of these curry/pub places in Leicester that will show the football(not tonight) but isn’t the Woolpack?

Then we’ll hire the Northampton manager after they’ve beaten us twice. -
Fulham u21s sounds like the name of a private school.

Yes, looking at the clientele in the pub, I think I was the only one who wouldn’t be drinking a crap lager or Pinot.

Went to the Old Horse. Was well excited that they had Wherry on by Woodfordes. I had one sip, tasted like something you’d put on your chips in Norfolk, rather than having with them. Beautiful collective pubs showing time after time, they can’t keep cask beer.

This is said so much- incorrectly stating when we were in league one. Pearson got us out of league one, he got us out of the championship. He also built a premier league winning side. The King Power people are secondary. Huth has shown a few times how clueless he is.

Sonrisa is okay(hit and miss) but Wild Tango is up there with some of the best food I’ve ever eaten in Leicester City Centre.

Oh right. I thought Scottish people who play for Australia wouldn’t speak English

Maybe it was lost in translation.

I think the figures St Albans has quoted are for per year.
