I like what Enzo is trying to achieve but we do have the best squad in the league. Bot getting promoted would be a failure and it’ll be harder next year with the teams that go down and us having to sell players / loose them at the end of their contract. Next season if we are in the championship will be a real test for Enzo.

How match fit is Ndiddi? Think he could be key to the rest of season. Him, KDH and Winks. I’d start Vardy again,

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'

Start the entire league on -6 points and none of it matters. -
Predicted XI for first game next season

You can’t sell a whole team even if we stay in this division. what we’d need to head towards is living within our mean in this league and the parachute payments help you get there. i’d guess something like: Stolarczky / Iverson / Ward Hamza Nelson Souttar / Coady Kristianson / Thomas Mcateer Braybrooke Alves Marcal Maviddi Cannon Another 2-3 of the current first team who we don’t sell the above assumes, Mads, Ricardo, Justin, Faes, Winks. Daka and KDH are sold. None of our out of contract players are resigned and that players like Soumane go back on loan. we’d loan a few PL players also We’ll still be competitive next season and Ward will still be picking up a wage even if it all goes horribly wrong, -
Asking clubs to live within their means is in principle entirely reasonable. imagine a wage cap or total team salary cap not fixed to club revenue but set in absolute terms. Set it at the right level and the league would be really competitive

I’d start Vardy if fit, possibly Albrighton also. A bit of experience throughout the team to calm nerves. 4-1 Leicester -
Does Enzo stay if we don’t go up? KDH, Hermanson, Ricardo sold. All out of contract players gone, Vesty has probably done enough for a premiership club to take a punt. I’d aim to keep the rest,

I don’t see clubs queuing round the block to sign him. If Enzo wants him in the Prem then that should be enough to offer him a contract. While he has been good this season, he has shown he is happy to sit and see out a contract so some caution in terms of length and relegation clauses for me
-
Secure Promotion, secure the title, go for the points total. hopefully Enzo can keep the players motivated. They are also playing for PL starts and not being replaced with incomings when we go up,

Out of Contract Summer 24 …… let’s get excited about nothing.

The population of Leicestershire is about £700k. A weekly tax on everyone of £1 and give it all to Mbappe. Bring his to his spiritual home. -
We should let Trabzonspor that there is this soon to be out of contract player, somewhat injury prone called Sensi that’s available to throw them off the Preat scent.
-
Thats my point. The question isn’t should Vardy stay it is more what does he want both in terms of wages and a wider role and do the club want to offer him that. He’s a leader and if he can help develop Daka and Cannon then great. Morgan did something similar. He also might just fancy a year or two in Saudi Arabia or the US
-
Depends on wages, to stay he’d have to take a massive drop in wages. Wasn’t he on like £140k per week in the prem? I think you’d need to drop the 1 from that number.
-
On a more serious note, assuming Nacho and Vardy are off at the end of the season. Cannon and Daka is something to work with
-
What’s his contract situation - extend for another 10 years. He’ll score 20 next season in the Prem. While we are at it, that Vesty is a player
-
Trying to be glass half full, the better he plays for us the better chance he has of securing a good move when his contract runs out.
-
Maybe we’ve done what we get frustrated at Italian clubs doing to us, I reckon we made a last ditch offer to Inter of a Mars bar as loan fee. Inter countered with ‘we’ll take a Duo’ but all Ruskin had in his pocket was one of those small ones you get in a tub of celebrations
-
If it is FFP then they would have known that we have no serious offers for our players today. I guess after that all you can really offer is to pay some of his wages Inter are better off selling to us for a nominal fee and adding in a sell on clause rather letting him go for nothing in June,
-
Scenes when at 11.59 it’s all ready to be faxed over and Rudders has forgotten to plug the Fax Machine in it’ll be that or no one thought to bring a pen to sign the contracts. There is no one else in for him, we aren’t selling anyone. Only Leicester could spoon this one
-
Squad players at best is a tad harsh both would be excellent squad players. Coady also I think is fine. For me it’s about contract length and salary, we should offer reasonable PL terms for a bottom half team not trying to compete with some of the big clubs. Excessive wages cost us last time round
-
Sending in, Preat and Soultar out would be ideal even loans
-
I’d be pretty confident of us going up so don’t mind the obligation to buy. Vardy, Nacho, Preat, Ndiddi, Vesty, Albrighton all out of contract - that’s a lot of our remaining big earners being cleared out or resigned on a lower wage even if we go back up,
