What have you debated, it’s unwise to use a feeling about what’s going on, that’s not debate, where is you constructive response other than trying to get a rise out of me, where is you counter arguments the reason you think it’s unwise, I’m a nice bloke, I enjoy a debate. I really don’t get where you coming from, challenge what you like, confident assertions?, I thought I was contributing to the thread, maybe that’s why I ****ed off from the forum for a long time, as it gets very boring giving an opinion, just to get into silly arguments over opinions. If I hadn’t received an email from foxes talk saying have a look and contribute I probably wouldn’t have come back, because for every person you can have a constructive debate, even with opposing views, there is always someone who just looks for arguments, with no constructive counter arguments, just look to CHALLENGE!!!

I totally agree they should be given a chance to play into form for a certain period, but not too long as what’s the point of a squad, and say til the last couple of games say nacho not starting over vardy. They is a point in time when a player is really out of sorts, they know it and if dropped, a player with the right mentality, personally and ego should accept for the good of the team they need to earn the shirt back. Players like nacho, Silva ( probably a bad example) don’t sign to sit on the bench come what may, they want a starting role, and if a player bang out of form for a long period won’t be dropped and them not given a chance, if I was them I would be thinking about my career, my own ambition and feel it’s pointless being here, and would be off, as a lot of players are international’s that need to be playing regular to keep there places at National level.

It’s a forum to discuss, give opinions and generally express how the poster is feeling about the way the club is going, or the reason they are not playing well, so not unwise, the whole point of the forum. It’s a bit different to a lot of fake in the knows spouting bullshit about players on Twitter stating it as fact not an opinion, now that is unwise

I know nothing about the players personally, I know nobody who works there but I personally think there is a few players who’s ego’s have been allowed to grow a belief they are to important to be dropped, and been allowed to undermine the manager by going behind his back, we saw that with Claudio and puel at least. The main one I think but there are a couple of others, but kasper is one for me, he saw vichai and top as personal friends, and he defo has tops ear. If my estimation’s are true, what a position that puts a manager in, and the atmosphere of the squad, two examples, vardy has been bang out of sorts for ages, nacho gives the 💯 and scores a few but is permanently drop for an out of form old guard player, kasper has had some awful runs of form since since ward came in, never dropped, sends out a message it’s not form but your name, what’s motivation do the players not getting in have, soon create’s a bad atmosphere.

Not talking about sabotage, I’m talking about the same players who let down manager after manager, whatever the reason maybe, not good enough, not good enough to perform for a season, poor attitude, I don’t know what but all I know is they are not consistent enough to take the club forward. The owners have pumped enough money, time and energy, to achieve their own target of having a team challenging for Europe every year, but the same core of players only play for half a season every year.

If we don’t get Europe now it will feel like a massive failure, I think we will miss out from what I’ve seen from these players. Be another inconsistent season, if we miss out we will also miss out on better players. Sacking Rodgers is not the answer, but a clear out of the poor or constantly inconsistent players who keep costing managers their jobs is the answer, no coincidence this happens every season, and the only consistent is the players

Why don’t they earn our faith, the whole team has played shit since jan barring the odd result. The same core of players are about to get another manager sacked, time to clear out shit players not another manager

Eat sleep repeat, this is nothing to do with luck, or because of the break, it’s the same for every team just slow, predictable football, lacking serious urgency or composure. If we are to progress into a team challenging for Europe we need competition for vardy, and replace him season after next, get rid of surplus of just premier league/ top of championship players like gray, Albrighton etc. We are desperate for quality out wide, two wingers, bench Barnes and bring him on slowly. Let’s not be fooled we are being beaten by a weakened Chelsea side not playing very well, champions league is under pressure, and these players are about to throw their early seasons hard work

I hate pre season matches for this exact reason, game played at a tippy tappy pace, more about fitness than performance, or entertainment, this stinks of pre season. Ricardo is a massive miss, we have no quality out wide, and if they don’t up the tempo soon I can see us in europa league not champions league.

Forget worrying about losing any player in the summer except wilf, we have be dog shite since he’s been injured, and he gave the team confidence to attack, knowing the protection was in the middle. I thought first game back he was amazing

Sad state of football, but we know all the players who have seen many managers off, would be nice to get rid of the power base. The owners have been great, but my one criticism is they are friends with the players, and have facilitated the power imbalance, allowing players to go above the manager, straight into the owners ear. Let’s hope something hasn’t gone on col, Rodgers is the best manager we have had for a while, and if something has gone on, I wouldn’t want to see another manager go, but players. This is all speculation I know col, but isn’t it strange how we seem to down tools and play shite for half a season.

I would snap their hands off if someone offered to pay that, very over rated, delivery poor, defensively gets caught out far to much. The only reason people rate him is because he’s good on the ball, and breaks forward at pace, problem is when he gets in a good position 9 times out of 10 he’s clueless as what to do with it, so he stops in his tracks and plays it backwards.

I think I tend to agree, some of them plodding around like it’s a pre season friendly. This tippy tappy football is great to watch at pace, but the slow sideways, over playing is so predictable and easy to defend. These players need to have a look at themselves and get back to what got them rave reviews, and links to bigger clubs, and remember there is a champions league place at stake. Problem for Rodgers, and the starting 11 know they places are pretty much nailed on is we have zero quality in reserve.

Feel for Barnes, he really lacks an end product, but at this stage of his career he shouldn’t be relied on to play and perform to the highest level for so many games, should have brought a winger, and use Barnes sparingly, as not to damage his progression
