  1. For those figures I would sell in a heart beat, both players very over rated, as in ability and price. Both are young and developing, and at that price is us selling them as a finished article, I would snap there hands off at that price, chilwell cost nothing, 20 mil Maddison, we could easily replace both, and get an upgrade
  2. We have great owners who have backed what they say up. We have a great chance of staying in and around there as Arsenal are a mess, Spurs cannot spend due to self imposed wage cap, and the massive debt of the ground, Man U are rebuilding as well as Chelsea, it’s all down to getting the recruitment right this time, and try and keep up with the big boys rebuilding.
  3. Why does kasper stay planted on his line, anything in the 6 yard box he should be punching away, it would relieve so much pressure of the defenders
  4. Ffs we are locked down in Leicester but they are allowed to breach into the red zone to play football. It’s out of order, do they not realise if we play like we did at Bournemouth we can’t even go to the pub to drown our sorrows, have any retail therapy fook all 😂
  5. Who did the review sepp blatter or plattini
  6. Pontus kaamart, muzzy, Steve Walsh, Steve guppy, and Roberts banging the goals in, could keep going, golden generation, yes we won prem but what a consistent team for the budget we had, a team of over achievers every year, peaking the year after he left, until Taylor **** the team up.
  7. Blackburn at Wembley and speedie diving. David speedie signing for us. End
  8. After shielding since the virus started, a big spike because the authorities refused to close factories and non essential shops due to well reported fears, do I feel safe taking my seat with 32000 others, err no. The club have a big decision to make if the league decides to open grounds to fans, which until a vaccine is found I very much doubt mass gatherings will happen. The club will need to take into account those fans that are high risk to the virus, if they just renew and that’s it, fans like myself and many thousands with feel like a punishment, as the option could be pay £500 not attend to retain their season ticket, or give it up and maybe not get one back for many years.
  9. As I said it’s highlighted where we should have strengthened in jan, and I will repeat what I said Barnes is a form player, and has looked sub standard for a while, are we just going to look at one game, or look at say the last few, and break down how he’s getting into positions but making poor decisions and poor quality, where when he’s confident he’s unplayable, but to young to be played every game, as his form will drop. And there is gray, looks fancy with his one trick step over, but offers nothing offensively or defensively, albrighton offers defensively but not offensively in our style of play, if we have a target man, or hoof ball maybe. We are slow and one dimensional, we need quality wide men when teams sit in. We lost our best creative player in Ricardo to injury, and defensively we have been a shambles, and we need to probably score 3 goals a game to get a win, but don’t look like scoring at all
  10. Totally understand his frustration, player that is 100 % committed every minute of every game, and must be getting frustrated by those around him
  11. Your preferred 11 I respect that, but what has gray ever done to warrant a place, and Barnes is so out of form he’s looks well out of his depth at this level. This is my issue with recruitment in January, this is highlighting why this position needed strengthening, without Ricardo we have no options or quality out wide, and don’t think it’s a coincidence that we struggle to break teams down since his injury. No width at all, and very slow build up through the middle, and if it does go wide chilwell more often than not comes inside and refuses to cross, Gray has no quality and the ball literally could go anywhere, and Barnes is a form player who hasn’t had any for a while, and the same the ball could literally could go anywhere. Gray and Barnes are two players who frustrated me the most this season, and Maddison who stats and performance’s don’t warrant the fee’s talked about, but gray has had his chance so bin him, we need a quality winger, and break Barnes in gently, as he’s not ready to start every week.
  12. This chap has you put it has cost us a lot of points, the villa game comes to mind. Kaspers shot stopping which is his only strength is in decline in my opinion, and his weakness distribution has gone from bad to worse. Since we have left the long ball game behind, a player on a 100 grand a week you would have thought he’d learn how to kick a ball, and pass one. He either kicks it straight out of play, or long and waste it, or straight to their players, think it was Man City where he just kick it to their player again in a very dangerous area. If we continue with this style of play, kasper has to be replaced as he’s a liability with the ball at his feet
  13. Perez is a waste of a shirt, Maddison is weeks away from a big transfer, I doubt we will see him again in my opinion
  14. In my opinion it’s an issue, we have 50 million on loan with just two players, and I believe we are paying 75% of there wages. Then there is the retention James, Morgan etc. I have said we rely to much on the starting 11 which has inexperienced players, who cannot perform for a season. Who do we turn to of the bench, an average albrighton, Gray who’s had chance after chance, Marty James who is again injured. We have average players in the starting 11 which should be improved on, kasper for one, desperate for a quality winger, Ricardo was our best attacking threat, and we are clueless going forward without him. So recruitment is a massive problem, I believe we have the 16 th highest wage bill in Europe, are we the 16 th best side, recruitment and retention decisions since winning the league barring a couple of players has been awful. I’m guessing Rodgers couldn’t buy in jan due to ffp because are wage bill is to high for a massive average squad
  15. Ward Evans Fuchs Bennett albrighton wilf tielmans preat Justin Nacho Vardy
  16. These are too good for us, their players are fighting hard for a good finish, 3-0 sheff Utd
  17. Last two managers clearly brought in by top for the passing, pressing style of football, but with clearly the wrong players with the wrong abilities to do so, to reliant on the same players every week, and a very poor squad in reserve. This goes far beyond Rodgers, this is years of poor recruitment, and over spending on wages and fees for mediocre players. For example James given a new contract after not kicking a ball for years, Silva and slimani brought on big fees and wages, loaned out pretty much all of their contracts, with us paying most of their wages, Andy king 50 grand a week?, never played, the list is endless. So pretty much we have one of the highest wage bill in Europe, whilst having a squad of James, albrighton, kasper, Wes, Gray, Perez etc who are on massive contracts and in fairness are average prem players and a squad of young inexperienced players, who are not ready to compete at the highest level consistently. Time for a clean slate of over paid, or over rated players, clear the wage bill, and give Rodgers a wages budget and transfer budget, and let him do what he has a history of, bringing in young, hungry talented players through.
  18. My reply, kasper **** off you twat !!!
  19. That second half was embarrassing, the group of players couldn’t have gifted a game away any better than that if they wanted to let Bournemouth have the 3 points. I’m tired of managers being shown the door, it’s time for a massive overhaul in this dressing room. I’m sick of hearing it’s not the players fault, who’s fault is it, Claudio’s, Shakespeare, puel’s and now Rodgers. Rodgers didn’t plan for kasper to kick like a Sunday league footballer, I would have thought he’d have worked on his distribution, what did we spend 16 mil on ward for, Rodgers didn’t plan for highly rated and payed players to show no hunger to win once they conceded. The only criticism I have of Rodgers is he’s stuck by these under performing, over rated players for two long now.
  20. Same conversation I had tonight, does seem a coincidence that both rumoured for big transfers out, season extended, injured for the end. Oh I wish kasper was out for tonight’s game, not to worry doesn’t matter how bad he’s play, injures are the only way he’s dropped
  21. Rodgers this is how I want you to play, 60 minutes in, oh kasper just gift them a goal. **** sack Rodgers, sack the recruiting department for lack of strengthening in jan, sell the sub standard players, give ward a go, drop kasper, anything but sack another manager because this squad haven’t got a full season in them
  22. Bournemouth haven’t won since lockdown, can’t buy a win til these bottle jobs turn up. All those calling for Rodgers to go need to look at the same players that play for half season, every season, we are cruising to kasper gifted them a goal, how can you prepare for that.
  23. And that’s why we need an up grade in goal his ability to pass would be embarrassing at Sunday league level.
  24. What gray needs is a drop down championship, get a game every week as his career has stalled here, as he needed to play 90 minutes in the important part of his development. If we are all honest gray has been given enough chances here, under numerous managers, and he’s just not for filling his early promise, he needs to move and rebuild his career, as we need quality not quantity.
  25. As a person that has had to retire at the age of 36 due to ill health which has caused disabilities, which is the way James would end up if he carries. So I’m in a position to understand how James feels, I had to give up a career I loved due to no fault of my own, but as much as I feel for him life throws people bad luck. Once it was clear to my employer I wasn’t going to recover enough to warrant my position they retired me on pennies in comparison to James, James has been made a multi millionaire in the time most employers would have choose he no longer warrants his position, as he couldn’t perform his duties, so I could only imagine having to take life’s knocks, but to be in his very privileged position, never worry about money again, and still probably earn a good living teaching the career he loves.
