  1. Re why wasn’t it done earlier, perhaps the hope that a sale of Souttar, Nacho or Praet would enable the offer to Inter to be clearer / better and comfortably affordable and risk free to us. The waters were muddy, we were hoping they would clear but they didn’t. As to why it failed tonight, sounds like one club put a clause in loan agreement that the other couldn’t agree upon.
  2. If Inter moved the goalposts at the last minute looking for more money or earlier payments and ignored our claims that we can’t adjust due to FFP then we’ve not done anything wrong. Big “if” though
  3. Someone owes me for my deadline day buffet! I would charge the club but they might fold.
  4. Local lad, available pending results of rabies medical
  5. Pounds, Euros, Euros, pounds, easy mistake, we’ve all done it
  6. If there’s a Sky reporter outside the training ground can someone please take them a Bovril or something
  7. Please stop bumping this thread, I’m running out of fireworks and the neighbours are getting p****d off with me
  8. They gave him a cup cake?
  9. Permit office:- Rudkin - Giz a permit, he’s well good, top class Permit Office - A regular for Italy you said Rudkin - Occasionally regular yeah Office - Coming to a Premier League Club? Rudkin - Well, Championship, Leicester Office - Leicester? Who employ Danny ****ing Ward? What’s the huge fee for such a talent. Rudkin - 500K for now Office - and he’s a fit strong healthy individual? Rudkin - ….It’s a no isn’t it Office - Yes it is F*** off
  10. To help with the permit I’ve persuaded Steve Bulls sister to marry him, so long as they have a joint surname. Seems like a sensible solution.
  11. Does anyone know how I can get a tattoo removed
  12. What, with these feet?
  13. A race against time, oh if only we’d identified him as our main target ooh say three weeks or so ago
  14. Would having a local wife help with work permit points? Any offers?
  15. They didn’t factor in that the cost of the flight would go onto our books. It was Ryan Air, he hadn’t checked in from home, brought luggage and went for the chicken baguette option
  16. OI Rudkin ”Don’t sit on the Fence-y Have we signed Sensi We need to know We need to know Did you **** up the permit Like a muppet like Kermit We need to know We need to know”
  17. And that was the sticking point, his agent wouldn’t let him sign until it reached 100 on Foxes Talk
  18. I’m making a reversible one with “ Welcome Sensi” on the back, all bases covered there
  19. If this was Barcelona he’d be on an artificially low wage but find a luxury sports car on his driveway, house paid for and luxury jewellery for him and his wife courtesy of the owners.
  20. I reckon another club have complained about the unorthodox structure of the payments cough Leeds cough
  21. Get the deal sheet filled in and at least there’s a chance. Worst case scenario is we’ve only wasted our last (allowed) bean on a player we’re not allowed to employ, Enzo quits, we decline and lose to Coventry in the play offs and several Foxes Talk posters will need Tattoo removal in the morning.
  22. “Thank you for calling the work permit office, our opening hours are 9 a.m to 5.30 pm…”
  23. We are bloated in terms of CF's, four competing for one place and knowing that we don't bring on more than one even if we're chasing a game, I think we could manage the rest of the season without Nacho, problem being is he sharp enough and showing good enough form to attract a lower half PL club and who else could afford him? Due to Nacho's contract situation Daka may be the one to bring in a bigger fee but again who would take him right now? I was a bit worried (in that I don't want him to leave) when Albrighton lead the after match lap of honour / appreciation on Saturday, he was some way ahead of the others and I saw it as potentially a farewell wave . I may be reading too much into it, he probably needed the loo or something
  24. It would be nice to compete for his signature but we wouldn't have a prayer
  25. The Queen was at Buckingham Palace distressed, "Oh Bother!" The head groom asks "What's wrong M'am"? "Charles has flown up to Edinburgh to give a talk at the University but he's left his speech behind" Groom - "Fax it up M'am" Queen - "Yes it does rather"
