Vier not there’s still time. Scotland might just might get a shot on target. Or just have a shot. -

I can see a 15 minute spell of not conceding a goal at some stage of the game. Half Time . -

The current situation in short - If you wanna pick a Potter while Potter picks a club, you wanna be a Potter picker before another club, if that club's a Potter picker and Potter picks it too, then you better have a picker who can pocket Potter for you.

Many years ago we had an American friend visiting and my Dad had the test match on all day (top hospitality hey) and was explaining elements of it to our baffled guest. He responded “You’re saying they can play five whole days and it can be a tie (draw)! Hot Dog!!” Then as the players left the pitch for lunch or tea “What’s this, Is it finished?”, “No they’ve gone in for tea”, “You mean everyone has to stick around and wait while the players have a meal!!!” The shorter forms of the game are of course very different to this in their pace and activity but he was adamant that Americans would not take to Cricket!

I was decorating and got to the top bit of the wall alongside the stairs, standing on a wobbly stool on the landing leant over the gaping drop of the stairwell, one foot on the bannister one hand on a wall, performing a kind of trapeze gymnastics hybrid, twice slipping and having a close call, arm and shoulder aching like hell and the paintwork looking like it had been done by a blindfolded chimpanzee. Then I was in Poundland a few days later and saw extendable paint rollers, £1, I never knew such things existed as I’d always used shorter ones! I let out a huge Victor Meldrew “I don’t belieeeeeve it” and it took months to see the funny side of it

Thanks for the memories guys, Marc for the title but also that first Champions League goal, Nacho for stepping up and slotting home that penalty in the community shield final as well as his goals in our cup run, Dennis....ooh that pass away to Brentford, sublime, wonder if one or two will crop up against us in the future, always thought Nacho would suit someone like Crystal Palace but they seem to have moved up a notch or two recently and he's coming off the back of a season where he sometimes failed to make the bench at Championship level. He needs a bit of love and a new project but it's fair to say his stock has fallen pretty rapidly in the last two years or so. Wasn't it in the lock-down games where he seemed most effective and focused?
-
Would he have rejected a 2 year? Doubt it so why 3? What with all that intense competition for his signature. Or is it just making sure we have enough players already on the books to get through the next 3 transfer embargo’s! Three years ?
