  1. No one will remember the details of tonight when we go on to lift the trophy
  2. Who said he doesn’t deserve his wages! Tonight’s saves and a few match day stints in the Filbert costume, worth every penny!
  3. They will build a statue of Ward outside the KP. Then 10 yards away a statue of a goal with a ball in it
  4. Fastest Soumare has moved all night
  5. A wise man said “ If you can’t win it, make sure you take a point”. An even wiser man said “It’s a cup tie you f***wit” !!

    Spiders

I had a parcel of a dozen or so CDs from Australia via the cheaper longer Sea shipping option which arrived in a large box full of shredded paper, polystyrene chips etc as protective padding. I noticed some were covered in some kind of excrement, “charming” I thought. I took out the contents and shook the packaging into a bin and put it outside the back door. I went out a few hours later and there was a large web with a big spider in the middle with what looked like a dark baked bean on its back. Spider - back - red - Australia - oooooh s**t. My hand had been in the box fishing out CDs and paperwork. My immediate concern was for my cat who would be likely to try to play with it if it saw it so I bravely knocked the spider into the bin bag with a broom and whacked it about 750 times (sorry, should have phoned a Zoo or something but was in panic mode). Then went inside and….locked the door????? Because we all know the reputation Red back spiders have with opening door handles! Went out later and it was back in a new web. This time I used a brick, swept it into the sack and tied a double knot (because we all know the reputation red back spiders have for untying single knots!) Still feel Queasy that my hand was rummaging around in the box with it. I remember telling the family about it, they asked “but how did you know it was an Australian Spider?” . “ Because it was wearing a corked hat and humming Waltzing Matilda” I replied!
  7. It was the kind of thing you only usually see when there’s going to be a half time substitution. Maybe one of the wingers came in with a knock and it was precautionary but we just saw it and concluded he must be coming on.
  8. Good point, I thought they were around £30 or so, £20 when the kit shirt was £40 so about 50% of the cost, I’d expect a signed used one for £60!
  9. That's just a ridiculous, surreal, crazy selection, be serious please. JJ over Ricardo?
  10. Yes, sums it up. They're asking Dermot the wrong question, the question is have the lines been drawn in the right place. We don't need a former referee to point at a picture with two lines and have him say to us "look at the two lines", we can all see where the lines are drawn, we're asking why they're in line with Mateta's feet when he's clearly leaning forward with his head being the furthest forward part of him.
  11. Seeing Ride in Cambridge next Sunday.
  12. Think it was 12, equalled then surpassed to 14 tonight.
  13. I’m just watching it from home and Taylor has yellow carded me and sent me up to my room
  14. As I was saying our visionary line up will surely facilitate the high likelihood of an early goal for us
  15. No goals in that midfield, no through balls from Vestergaard, if Palace double up on our wingers we have the combined creativity of a boiled potato. Not a minted one, a plain one.
  16. And he hasn’t picked Edouard
  17. Reading the list from the bottom upwards is like a recreation of a typical night in Brannigans
  18. The PL have announced our revised fixture list for December:- 25th 20:00 Newcastle (A) ref Coote 26th 12:30 Southampton (A) ref Coote 27th 12:30 Liverpool (A) ref Coote 27th 15:00 Brighton (A) ref that one from Roma 28th 12:00 Man City (H) ref Coote 29th 12:00 Man City (A) ref Coote 30th 12:00 Man City (A) BONUS MATCH! ref Coote
  19. They’ll change the rules now that we’ve identified the loopholes for them but too late to charge us, you could say closing the barn doors after the fox has bolted
  20. Can we have a poster of the legal dude in the next match day programme? What a waste of money on legal fees by the PL though, could have been spent on footballs, training kits and facilities for kids instead, yet another unaccountable money wasting authority
  21. How about the FA sending us a ref who is up to speed with the new thresholds of allowed physicality? One that can not come out of the game having more touches of the ball than Vardy? One that communicates his decisions clearly with confidence and not arrogance? Don't give me "He got most of the big decisions right", he ripped the flow right out of the game and just couldn't handle the tempo combined with the new allowance of physicality thresholds. Correctly sent our free kicks and throws back to the correct positions whilst ignoring Villa players stealing ten yards every time. Allowed them to have a running dialogue with him and complains when we try. I noticed throughout the game Villa had multiple players around the ref, I thought it was the case in the last couple of years that only the player directly involved in an incident and the captain were allowed to approach the ref. Has this changed or is it based on a club badge basis?

    Iversen

He was warming up with a medicine ball but dropped it onto his foot.
  23. Without re-opening the overall subject I wonder how many fans left the Everton game early thinking it was ending 2-0. Do they let away fans out early?
