He tried. He just wasn't good enough. Onwards and (hopefully) upwards!

Proper PL referee today, gave absolutely everything, Chelsea learned pretty quickly they just had to hit the deck and he'd give them a FK no question. Didn't get any major calls wrong but just generally an annoying *****. -
I dunno, Rudkin's a **** oh wey oh wey got an outing in L/K. Atmosphere in general today was dreadful though, just like the performance.

Is it normal for the majority of days to be a struggle, something to endure, something to get through? I just feel under pressure, constantly. My job is stressful and it sometimes keeps me up and night and gives me knots in my stomach. Parenting a toddler too, although I love him beyond words, is just a relentless effort with very little respite. I have very very little time to myself and feel like I never get any time to recharge. I also just feel so selfish for even having some of the thoughts I am having. My wife in particular would be devastated to learn how I'm feeling. I feel stuck. Trapped. I don't know if this is just me wilting under the normal every day stress of life, or whether something isn't right with my mental health. I do know that I shouldn't, at 30 odd, be looking at those in care homes (who I hear a lot about as a close family member is a carer) with envy, simply because they do not have any responsibilities, any reason to have to get up in the morning, any deadlines, etc. They can just be. Just exist. I can't think of anything I want more at this moment in my life. And it sounds so insane reading this back to myself. Edit: I'd also add, like others have, that reading some other posts in this thread make me feel like I have no right to feel this way when they're going through unfathomably difficult traumas.

I thought this was an interesting read so thought I'd share it here: https://blog.practicalethics.ox.ac.uk/2023/09/climate-change-planetary-health-and-the-deep-significance-of-the-anthropocene/

Pretty embarrassing really for anyone claiming to be a serious boxer to not be able to knock out a 60 year old. He wouldn't have lasted a minute against prime Tyson. Not many did.

Some people have strong in-group preference and others do not. This for me is the basis of the debate going on above regarding housing homeless people. The causes of this idealogical divide are very interesting.

Okay I understand this, and fair enough. However, even on FT there is inconsistency in what is allowed to be discussed and what is not, so the broader point stands: always question things you are told you cannot question. I'm glad to see the public in many Western countries is starting to remove the wool from their eyes when it comes to Israel and Jewish interests. Anyway, boo, Cooper out, etc etc.

Proof is in the pudding! My post was removed. Whoever the moderator was, I'd welcome an explanation for why it was removed. This type of censorship is a big part of what drives antisemitism and makes me very suspicious of anything pro-Israel or anything that uses claims of antisemitism as a way to silence people.

I've been spending a bit of time in Leeds lately (for work) and it's much the same as Leicester. The amount of homeless there is staggering.

Steady on Adolf What you're saying is true btw, you're just not supposed to say it.

I think even with Cooper we stay up.

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!
DennisNedry replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Can see why the fans warm to him wherever he plays. Yes, he's technically not great, but he has his moments, and he always gives everything. For me he starts over an out of form Mavididi at the moment. -

That's actually a glorious goal. Soumare great. Ayew and Vardy 1-2, lovely. -

It's bizarre. He's so bad that you can't even imagine any club not releasing him as an academy player. So he must have been better in the past. But then 31 is too young to have gone completely shit. -

Aged like milk this ๐ -
Only 2 or 3 games ago he was looking really solid, and Winks was looking jaded. Have we ruined him already? ๐

He looked prime Patrick Viera on that run against Forest Rudkin probably sorting out a contract extension as me speak.

Yeah I can't stand Pawson, there was no big decisions wrong tonight but it's just the culmination of 50/50s going in their favour, loves getting his cards out etc. Smug ***** too.
