Hopefully, the goal of the month competition will return. At least they will have something to print on the clappers other than a light show.

I think we are now picking a team to keep the score down. No fight, no entertainment, no endeavour , effing boring. After sixty years Monday night is the point of no return for me. Probably time to hand over to the next generation. Been one hell of a ride though.

Watching this in Tenerife in a bar full of Scousers and Geordies. Got the 1984 Ind Coope green shirt on , hope it doesn't get recognized.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
foxgas replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
I was pretty ambivalent till he started playing the two left backs, who we don't think are good enough for the Premier league, in the starting eleven. It's like he's asking to be sacked. Sad times. -
No public transport Sunday nights,so passed my tickets on. One of my better decisions in life. Horrific viewing, some hopeless players. Next big decision is whether to renew or not? Those on here banging on about atmosphere and getting rid of us oldies may get their wishes granted. Right now putting the money towards extra holidays abroad is looking mighty attractive. Sorry to be so negative, probably some form of PTSD, need a summer off.

Season Ticket / Membership renewals for 25/26
foxgas replied to skinnydipper's topic in Leicester City Forum
I have voted undecided, not because of the standard of football, but because kick off times, and days ,are making it impossible to travel in from the county using public transport. Driving in is getting more difficult due to dazzling led headlights on country roads and lack of affordable parking. How I look back in pleasure to the days of travelling in by coach over fifty years ago when we played every other Saturday at 3 pm , and on occasional Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and later years when street parking was easily available near to the ground. If the club want us to keep coming they really need to invest in helping us to get to the stadium and back. If we are in the Championship again next season I think a lot of us may stay home and watch it on SKY due to the fixture list that doesn't give a toss about the lives of normal people who have jobs and other responsibilities. If there is an occasional Saturday 3 pm kick off I can't see a problem getting tickets as they seem to be on general sale in the Premier league this season. At least season tickets will be available to all that want one I suppose. -
Fan Zone Trial Begins At King Power Stadium

It was great having somewhere dry to sit and have a drink before the game, band was good too. Stayed till 1:30 but was surprised walking to the turnstiles that moving cars were being allowed to mix with the crowd walking in front of the West and South stand. I know they were only trying to get to the car parks, but it does say when you buy a parking ticket you should park up an hour before kick off. With the terrorist attack in Germany I would have thought security would be tighter. -
We need a top class defensive coach at the club. It's worries me that all our defenders switch off at critical moments. Defending as a unit, irrespective of personnel, will probably be enough for us to survive this season. A box to box combative midfielder, in the Lennon mould, would be my January priority.

Is there a rule stating every Man utd game has to be televised? I would sooner have watched Chelsea v Forest.

I think Cooper has found a copy of Brendan's " How to lose a football game with pointless substitutions in injury time" kicking around the toilet in the managers office at Seagrave.

Thanks. Ticket office sorted it, seems can't be done online if transfer is for a cheaper ticket. He is on my F&F list, just won't let me do it.

When I try to transfer a ticket , from a senior to an under twelve, it says not allowed and can only transfer to a higher price category. Is there a way around this?

May as well sign Julio Geordio, at least the press conferences would be fun.

At least Cannon looks fairly competent, if inexperienced. I would throw him in at the deep end, it worked with Lineker and Smith decades ago, if we bring no one else in soon. I can't see Daka prospering at this level, he's the one who needs moving out.
-
If no marquee signings coming in I would splash the cash on Chair and Szmodics, best two I saw at the King Power last season and would be great in Championship if we get relegated.
-
The main reason we won't get a massive points deduction is that if they set the bar higher they would have to hammer Man City and possibly Chelsea when their time eventually comes.

Who can forget the hideous Topps Tiles logo. Chairman might quite like the Topps bit though.

Positives on the impending Cooper appointment
foxgas replied to CrazyKopCorner's topic in Leicester City Forum
It would seem he is good at working with young, homegrown players, and giving them a chance. We really need to work on this as we have failed to develop talent at Seagrave. The template for the future needs to be, pick up younger players, improve them and sell them on at a profit. We kept players like Teilemans for too long and he underperformed in his final season. -
Just give the bloke a chance. If it doesn't work we can always bring Enzo back after Christmas.

I can see their owner losing interest now his Greek club have won a European trophy and his eye has turned to Netball.

If we're dreaming it's Simeone for me as Jock Wallace not available.

Not this year I believe. -
Both of this weeks Euro finals are free to view if you download the Discovery Plus app, open an account and look for free stuff. No need to give bank details.

A bit of a strange one this, Chelsea fans don't want him and a lot of our supporters, myself included, not that bothered if he leaves. I think Enzo ball wouldn't have worked with our squad quality but may work at Chelsea. We need a more pragmatic manager for next season as we will be spending a lot of time in the trenches and playing on the break.
