Why a review is needed before being too judgemental on the case workers. If the social workers remit was "just check in on them to see if they need help" and there was no response, you could see that potentially the worker thought they were just out. If the mandate was "make sure they're ok" and it was a prearranged appointment then clearly the process has failed with the most appalling consequences.

Just give the free trial a bash to be sure there's nothing on there you're not agreeable with.

I've had Premium for a while as don't want the kids getting blasted with adverts when they're on it. You do get YT Music with Premium which replaced Spotify for me so hasn't added any overall cost to myself as it replaced that service. I do have an AdBlock and the buggers also slowed me down despite having Premium! Had noticed something was up.

Think people are conflating the day traders who are betting against other traders in ETFs, short selling etc and people investing in companies. If you buy shares in a sector you think is going to perform, you're not betting against other professionals, but against the performance of a company. It's not always a case of someone having to lose for someone to win when investing.
