All true - but I'd also say that tickets for QPR were significantly cheaper than league games. In 2002 when we moved we built it and they came - but they had games as cheap as £10 for adults in Division 1. After relegation in 2004 numbers stayed strong but slowly dipped off. I've no issue in us expanding and don't really fear empty seats like others, in fact I think the novelty factor would improve attendances alone - but I just think people should have a realistic expectation that at the current pricing model if we opened our expanded ground tomorrow with a 40,000 capacity I'm not sure how often we'd sell out outside of the "massive" games.

Sorry, another non-Leicester post, but I went and did the pub quiz at 1912 Sileby Club last week. Seems like a nice place - darts team/boards going on at the same time. Never even been to Sileby before but a friend moved there so popped along for it. Seemed like a really friendly atmosphere on the face of it.

Fantastic trio - have always been a fan of Logan. Thought it was ridiculous that rather than let her take the ITV number 1 gig post Lynam, they let her do it for two years and then bought Steve Rider from the BBC. She is great. Chapman and Cates speak for themselves, but Logan I feel has always been underused. As mentioned, those who were desperate for it to be Alex Scott to spew bile will be so, so disappointed today, though they'll probably claim it as some kind of "victory."

I'm sorry, but if anyone has had this genuine reaction to the PSR stuff then they really, really need more hobbies, or to focus more on their actual, real, day to day life. Over the last week work for me has been manic, I've barely had time to digest PSR-related stuff and have dipped in and out of the thread on here, reading about 5-6 posts to get a flavour. Today the news came through that it was all okay. You know, as someone who used to be wrapped up in every minute movement this club made, that's all that I needed. A check in, a quick "eh it might happen but I can't control it" and then a look this morning. There's more to just watching people make £££ online. There's the desire to be seen as powerful, influential within the club you support. Look at all the accounts of individuals, or those running LCFC-related accounts with large followings. There's a pressure to stay relevant. With that comes overly-emotional investment which is admirable fanaticism at best, weird lonely behaviour at worst. Remember this. The players, management and board of this club do not care about you. Your loyalty and investment in this club does not matter to them. By all means enjoy following the club but I'd encourage anyone to do all they can to let go of the things they absolutely cannot control, especially off-the-pitch stuff.

I've just been watching the first half on delay and skipping through. People criticise the NFL for stoppages and time between plays, but good lord the tediousness of arsenal setting up their free kicks and set pieces. Takes absolutely forever. Was skipping through at 30s intervals and there were so many occasions when they weren't even close to taking anything after 30s.

It wouldn't even be that they won the league. What would be annoying, and this would probably be the same for any club of Forest's size winning the league, is the comparison to our achievement. As brilliant as it would be on the face of it, it doesn't even touch the sides of what we did. Their squad costing around £200m being the main reason. It's bad enough they try and claim the European Cups as miracles when they could spunk a million on Britain's most expensive player. Would be like us claiming our miracle but Kante had cost us £80m.

Nah, it's far easier to scream conspiracy against the PL and EFL. Say the rules are bent and skewed against little old Leicester instead of facing up to the fact we KNEW the rules, have watched multiple clubs comply with them and seen us run ourselves into this sorry state. Maybe take some time to thank our lucky stars we got off on a technicality earlier this season, too.

And every single drain could be clear and clean as a whistle. But it's too easy to ignore rainfall levels that keep on breaking records, it's too easy to just finger point and blame someone, cos that's easier than facing the inconvenient truth. I saw a comment on FB earlier "It's always rained!!!" Yes it has, but not to these levels, not to this consistent, persistent level that means nothing gets a proper respite. Think I mentioned it a few months ago but made the trip to Coalville back in August. Insanely jealous at what you have. Pubs close by, the ground in a great location. Compared to where I am in the county I'd love a setup like that. I do have Kirby Muxloe close by, and AFC Hinckley is a short drive away (can't bring myself to pay Barwell's prices tbh), but the whole experience at Coalville I really enjoyed. Hope to go back, or at least do some non-leagues again when the weather warms up.

I'm going to dramatically underestimate the Chiefs. I don't think they'll skate by the seat of their pants like they have in so many games this season (even if that is a sign of a good team). Can see them getting dismantled by someone. Would like the Lions to at least make the Superbowl. Nasty combo of record rainfalls over recent months, snow and then the massive rain last night (certainly in my area anyway). I know it's easy to blame the drains and new homes, but when the ground is completely sodden the water has nowhere to go. The sheer breadth of the issue highlights that it's not just going to just be the drains (though I'm not sitting here saying that drains aren't to blame today, just that it's definitely not the sole cause of what we're seeing today.) Besides, as has been said in the past, even if every drain was clear and clean, the sheer quantity of water in some areas mean they wouldn't be able to cope anyway. Unfortunately Facebook groups will continue to blame everything but climate change, which is a huge driver of this.

We're essentially letting a novice cut his teeth at top level football at a time when the circumstances mean we probably needed an experienced, gritty bastard who'd do anything it takes, and play any way necessary to get the job done for us. Unfortunately many on here, and clearly in our boardroom, spent a lot of time instead being all snooty and snobby about that prospect, instead fawning over a name. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ He might come good, the window might lead to inspired signings and we saunter to survival and god knows I want him to because we desperately, desperately need it.

Interested in this bit. I do quite like the camaraderie that darts players seem to have with each other, and it must be genuine when you're travelling across the country/world together getting to play a game you enjoy and paid a lot for. But what element (with Littler especially) is genuine bond/looking after a youngster and for the cameras? By that I mean they all know this man is so astronomically popular with both the crowd and Sky Sports it's not in your interest to be pitted as a "villain" against him? Darts followers will know this way better than me so I'm properly interested in what people think.

I thought it was good, too. Stayed close to the original but had a couple of 2024 twists. Also liked keeping the pro involved a lot more than the OG Bullseye did, too. Helped that the Yorkshire brothers were good value. Think Flintoff was a little raw as an autocue reading presenter going solo, but if they give it a proper run he'll be brill and warm into it a lot. He's also done so, so well to recover from that accident. He spoke about it on is cricket camp show about how he didn't want to leave the house for ages etc, and the anxiety he felt/feels. To recover from that is amazing so I'll always have huge respect for him.

Yeah, you can call for the club to make ticket prices cheaper, accelerate the expansion, do loads more to get younger people into the club. But don't start whacking older people. One day you'll be one, and when people are asking why you're still going, especially if you're not as loud as you used to be, you might realise what a fvcking arse you sound. Also, there are plenty of "younger" people in the stadium, whether it be couple of friends, small groups. Amazingly older people have younger people with them too. They seem quiet as well? Is that because of the old people too? Let's also not forget the inspirational younger fans at away games, who are exceptionally loud in the concourse pre-match, but seem to lose their voice as soon as they see the green of a football pitch. I'm not sure what they offer than being big brave boys downstairs. Maybe it's a multi generational issue. But if you want to get everyone's backs up and play age groups off against one another then go ahead.

Because they're not truly random and they have to make allowances for some games to be better suited at times of the year than others. Fixtures are generated based on the predetermined elements they put in. It's beneficial for us to play those teams as they're decent distances for both sets of travelling fans, especially with public transport strangled over Christmas. They'll also avoid massive rivalry games over the festive season, too. We used to play Ipswich quite a lot over Xmas as well.
