  1. Isn't their a delicious irony that people are willing to criticise and breathlessly pursue their hatred for UFS than focus on the true cause of the downfall of this club.
  2. Absolutely buzzing to see Tampa Bay win on Saturday, qualify as 8-9 division winners and go on to win the Super Bowl
  3. 2004 runs 2025 close in terms of abject mediocrity. Relegation from the Prem and then a really middling start to the championship. Pl: 48 W: 9 D: 21 L: 18 Let us also not forget 2001, though that was a collapse followed by the horrific 01/02 campaign Pl: 48 W: 10 D: 8 L: 24 Can I also just emphasise how similar this season seems to be compared to 04/05? If you look at the table then to today's date you can see how mid-table we are, and remember back then how mid-table we were despite starting the season thinking our Dad's Army squad was superior. 04/05: Pl: 26 W: 7 D: 11 L: 8 Pts: 32 Ppg: 1.23 Pos: 15th 25/26 Pl: 23 W: 8 D: 7 L: 8 Pts: 31 Ppg: 1.34 Pos: 14th
  4. Inaccurate lists of AI nonsense and fans who can't orate their own thoughts without some AI help. Sensational day for FoxesTalk.
  5. My post was wrong but I'll ignore those and say it's basically right. You're all that's wrong with the internet in the modern age 😂. Make sure you fact check your AI laziness next time and get it right. Pathetic.
  6. And in 2006/07 we finished 19th, not 20th. Are the "overall positions" supposed to be where we are in the pyramid, too, cos if they are some of them are just plain basic wrong. If people insist on putting AI slop on FoxesTalk, can they at least take a few seconds to verify it before posting incorrect shit.
  7. This actually makes me sad sometimes, I dunno if I'm alone in this. Like others I renewed but have not been to many. In fact I went yesterday to justify paying for a ST. But when I don't go to home and away games and watch at home it freaks me out how little care I have. I watch other sports, I sleep, I put the game on and scroll my phone. I am not tuned in at all. Ten years ago I was attending pretty much every home and away game. Fixtures would dominate my planning and nothing could get in its way. And now, to fall to feeling like this? It's not a great feeling and, like above, an eye opener. I find myself asking if the feeling will ever come back if we got back to 2015-2017 again? I'm not sure it would.
  8. All the obvious ones gone but both goals in this game (particularly the first one) are two that stick in the memory. The free-flowing, front-foot confident football we were playing. It was a peak-like performance during that winning run where it felt like we really were onto something special
  9. I love winding people up when they so firmly believe Die Hard isn't an Xmas film, just being contrarian for the fun. I've never thought of the Home Alone analogy before, though. Banking that for future use
  10. I'd really, really like to know the reason they so desperately needed to change and realign the HR payroll admin one day before December payments were due? If it's not financial related and is purely HR then it's a disgraceful mismanagement. Do it four months ago, or take whatever admin hit you need and realign from January. To do it now is not just a PR disaster, it causes pain to families, long-serving employees who don't earn the earth and makes you look even more incompetent than the sane section of your fanbase already believes you are. It's just rubbish, it's rubbish all round. Not even an apology in that email to staff "we can appreciate the timing of this decision is not ideal". Ya don't say.
  11. Nowhere else to put this really. Has anyone in Hinckley tried, or intending to try the new Ballers Pool Lounge in the Crescent? I've been waiting for it to open and with the town centre just a short drive away thought I'd give it a go. Seems to be quite popular on the FB pages locally, and it is a really good new thing to be introduced.
  12. As above, 12:15pm kick off, live on Discovery +
  13. Think this is an underrated element as well. It might be close and a rivalry whatever but it's built in such a crap location to actually have a good awayday experience. I'd rather travel down 100 miles to London and enjoy an away there than the 20 miles or so to Coventry. I'm sure there's plenty in this thread still to come to justify these prices and why they're going to pay it.
  14. Yeah money where mouth with on this one. It'll be a complete sell out nice and quickly but anyone paying this is complicit and has zero right to whine.
  15. I thought we'd accepted years ago that as a commercial broadcaster like ITV or TNT, who are private companies who, you know, want to make a profit, they will always if they can choose teams who will get the most eyeballs. Romance doesn't pay the bills. This isn't OnlyFans You can whine about it all you want but it's been like this for decades now. You really need to get over it.
  16. Woke it's a public vote - if people are that bothered get on the anti-woke socials run a campaign for your favourite white man to win it? It's a popularity contest and we all know it, like the ridiculous time when Giggs won it for being old and still playing football, the Man Utd fans voted in their droves to ensure he won. I really don't gaf who wins SPOTY, it really is quite meaningless for me, but makes for easy TV fodder for the BBC and gives the public a chance to get involved, and then creates great debate as to who should've won/been nominated etc.
  17. Their offense is absolute ass. How on earth has it got to that point. Watching the game was painful yesterday, I had absolutely no faith they could get any yards at all. I know Houston's D is top tier, but still. Everything has felt like a slog for them for most of the season!
  18. Alabama should've been out, they were trashed by Georgia and have been on the wane for a few games now. To not get dropped one place was ridiculous, and tbh Miami getting in over the crybabies of Notre Dame has overshadowed this. BYU gets dropped but not Alabama? Idc about their big wins or beating Georgia in Athens. Something does need to be done though because Tulane and JMU are just cannon fodder for Oregon and Ole Miss. There's basically two good games in the first round. The ACC should step up, and they should have a better tie-breaker of course, but this round is going to be ruined by two massive, dull home wins when it should be all-out excitement.
  19. How did the FIA help Max get on pole this time, eh? Could our two favourite FoxesTalk F1 conspirators help me on this one?
  20. What draw have we got? Can the MAGAs who decided to actually watch this farce in full report back after they've finished wiping up their residue following the peace award ceremony...
  21. Daily Mail when BBC revealed to be doing most of the World Cup next year in the UK: "DISGRACE, Motson would be spinning in his grave, what a shambolic organisation." The likely response of the Daily Mail if the BBC took all their staff out to a base for the World Cup next year: "DISGRACE, what a waste of taxpayers money, what a greedy, boys club shambolic organisation" 🤷
  22. Charnwood Borough Council must've been cock-a-hoop when they realised they wanted to build this in their area. Even only keeping half of the rates it's quite the income boost!
  23. Patriots Some of it reads like it's been written like AI. Or maybe it's just been written really badly. Either way, people like that will never understand they are the problem. Or it's rage bait, it has to be rage bait.
  24. Nah he's just in cope mode at the thought of him doing it. Even worse, the thought of doing it with zero controversy so the tin foil hat can't even come out Suspect Norris will stroll it
