  1. Didn't realise this website required age verification. Turns out this place does have a cuckold section. People like you live in perpetual victory. Be like this when times are tough so when times are good you can boast you supported the lads through thick and thin. In reality you were enablers of the bad times and did nothing, showed nothing and said nothing when we had thrown away our best opportunity to solidify ourselves as a top team.
  2. Complicit. Remember people like this as we fall further. Pathetic nonsense with no perspective of the opportunities and chances we have wasted. You are part of the problem. I know you don't see yourself as that, why would a sheep see themselves as that? But still, remember you are, many of us think you are. You're no fan, you're a KPFC sheep. Be ashamed.
  3. TNT's owners are potentially being bought our by Paramount's owner, so it might be the rights transfer over under one brand, negating another sub. Though an increase in rights usually means only one thing anyway, even with the Europa and Conference going to Sky. Paramount also own Channel 5, so lots of speculation as to whether that becomes an outlet for highlights/live matches.
  4. Did I hear right that QPR do digital tickets for away fans, or is it still paper?
  5. Couple of shopping grinds: People who espouse free market, private companies driving the economy and industry in this country simultaneously moaning that Christmas related things in shops (adverts, music in store, presents, cards, decorations etc etc) are being done "too early." Who are you to tell private businesses that it's too early? Do people really think places waited till 1 December before trying to lure people in to buy xmas gifts and decorations years ago? By all means vote with your feet and wallets and don't spend, and then complain when these places shut and there's a Turkish barbers in its place Saw someone moaning earlier about Fosse Park being "too busy" because there's a Christmas market on there now. Can people decide what they want? I thought it was bustling shops, not everything online in front of a screen. I can appreciate people want the town centre back (that rascal SPS and his single-handed changing of people's shopping habits, eh) but if people are yearning for the old days when shopping areas were rammed around Xmas, then surely this is their mardi gras?
  6. Just to add, Trump is increasingly being has historically, and is increasingly being linked to the allegations that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been accused of. Anyone in this country supporting him I assume is a big fan of Andrew??? Which again, says a lot and poses many questions about the person in question. Would welcome anyone supporting both Trump and Andrew to state their case and why they support such individuals.
  7. Says an awful lot about British people championing Trump suing the BBC. Supporting someone like him over your national broadcaster says a lot about your politics, biases and loyality to this country. The irony that those pinning themselves to the British flag are supporting a foreigner who is increasingly being linked to someone like Epstein. Does make you wonder.
  8. Just to make the point that (and these are rough numbers I've sourced from Google) someone paying Band D council tax pays around £300 towards Leicestershire Police. 0.7% of that element goes to fund the office of the PCC, so at some point, when the office is abolished (and it appears it won't be as quick as April 2026 anyway) you'd, in theory, be getting about £2.10 back off your council tax. Although as has been made clear in the announcement, the money will go towards policing rather than a political office, which I assume people would rather see. Seems like you'll have to budget for your bottle of Coke elsewhere.
  9. The whole mediocrity 'let's spend time in League One' nonsense is fine if you're Huddersfield. Penalty shoot out win to get to the prem, spend two seasons there and drop down. We WON the fvcking thing, solidified ourselves as PL regulars, got filthy rich, won the FA Cup and nearly got to the UCL again twice. We were established, we were a mainstay. We seemingly gave up this position through bad management and bad ownership. It's like a working class man making £50k a year stumbling upon an invention that made him £500m, making bad business decisions and spaffing/losing the lot until he's back on £50k a year. Sure, you came from a moderate background, but fvck me you really shouldn't be back where you were.
  10. Was hoping that'd be the case, thanks!
  11. Car battery advice required if possible... Came out this morning to see my battery is flat. I left the door ajar on Thursday evening and didn't realise until Sunday. Closed the door not even thinking about the internal light draining anything. Reckon if I get it jump started later when the wife comes home and let it the engine run it'll be okay? The battery is not that old tbh, maybe two or three yrs? I'm just not sure if it being empty since Friday is too long to damage it?
  12. David could set up his own forum of free speech* and thinking if he wasn't such a coward or lacking in nous. But no, he'd rather be like his right wing brethren and bitch about being silenced 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ *The free speech he thinks is acceptable and supports his narrative
  13. This is exactly what the KPFC lot wanted. They wanted blind loyalty to their master, they're getting their rewards. Any of them booing or bemoaning this situation should hang their heads in hypocritical shame. But they won't, cos they're shameless.
  14. Nope not just you, they are an abomination. Driving is awful, you're essentially guessing where to place the car sometimes because you're so blinded. Not to be a pearl-clutcher but I'm surprised there aren't more accidents on narrow/country lanes based on drivers being blinded. It's like full beam on crack.
  15. I still can't wrap my head around this. Am I being mean to suggest Fatawu in no way deserves this kind of treatment? A special documentary for returning from injury? Not even Vardy got that when he left. None of the 15/16 got treated like it. Andy King, club legend through so much got... fvck all. He's played short of 70 games for us. He's not scoring at Haaland/Kane levels so he's crucially important. He's not scored goals that have changed the course of our history. It's weird. I just don't get it. At all.
  16. Read the thread title and came here to say pretty much exactly this tbh. Missed loads of home games last season and already skipped two this. Midweek games hold no attraction to me at all at the moment, and the Portsmouth Saturday night game I zipped through the first half on delay on the telly, promptly falling asleep during the second half. And the last sentence is key - that's what's keeping me attached. The what if. If I walk away and 2015-2017 happens again, if we win a cup, if we do something special I'll feel like I missed out. Sure, I could try and come back, but 700+ priority points gone, having to fight for a season ticket if the spark came back. I genuinely admire people who have pulled the cord. If I'd had more gusto I'd have done it last summer. This season might just do it...
  17. Jesus - read the headlines and the bed wetting and you'd think the PL and broadcasters had permanently banned Boxing Day fixtures forevermore. Instead it's just a scheduling issue this year. Sensational headloss for something so minor. Football fans really are a bunch of freaks
  18. The return of £20 pie and pint tickets!!
  19. Took me a while to warm to the celeb version. First episode felt quite ponderous, but Alan was the initial star of the show and it's been a good watch. The Irish version is coming to BBC after the celeb one. I watched it whilst it was being aired in Ire and recommend it. Really, really good series imo.
  20. Just to say I'm watching something else but the first and third goals we've scored have been when I've switched during a break and we scored within 10 seconds of tuning in. You're welcome
  21. I know everyone will hate this but at this stage with 48 and potentially 64 teams in future they'd may as well let the top 24 (for 48) and 32 (for 64) teams ranked by FIFA auto qualify for the World Cup. Qualifying is so easy now, especially in CONMEBOL and UEFA, and will be too for CONCACAF when Can/USA/Mex have to compete. Just have the teams you want anyway get there and let qualifying mean something and be interesting for the rest.
  22. The internet circa 2001 called - it wants its immature website back
  23. I presume any company would want past breakdowns of any click through rates from previous sponsor posts to get an idea of how active people are (and where those people are from), general engagement rate numbers on social media and % of social media posts that would actually feature my brand? Then there's the age, gender, location summaries and which of those types engage most/least with our posts to make even a slight informed decision of whether it's worth bothering to invest based on our social media clout?
  24. Anyone close to the chap on the SK3/4 stairs in the second half? Looked like he'd taken every substance under the sun and was getting really verbally aggressive with the response stewards. Five police turned up to scoop him away, though I did enjoy him trying to talk on the phone whilst being dragged down the stairs by two coppers. Police spoke to some fans as well so not sure how bad the verbal aggression was...
  25. Can't even imagine what it's like living with a terminal illness. As a very wide aside I was Wikipedia-ing his career statistics and didn't realise how many PL games he'd played. He's had quite the personal life, based on that section, too...
