11 days to work with the majority of the squad should be enough. For me James starts and possibly Ramsey, Ayew might start over Carranza. Given that Ramsey is still coming back from injury I hope that Page will still get plenty of miutes.

I wouldn't be surprised either. I think having James in providing the energy and aggression in midfield would allow Winks more time to play his passing game, although Cifuentes does seem to like Soumare at the moment.

He hasn't started the last couple of games, so I am not sure the manager will change his mind. He may prefer Faes if he believes Vestergaard's lack of pace will be an issue, but probably on a game by game basis.

I don't think the performance of the U21 team is important. It's only purpose is to enable the players to develop to their maximum potential and if that can be done better on loan then they should be on loan.

I think Ramsey could be an improvement over BEK at 10 if he stays fit. I am not saying that Ramsey is potentially a better player, only that BEK was more of an 8 playing at 10, whereas Ramsey is an out and out 10 and, if fit, is a very good 10.

To help in comparing this window to last summer we should remember we have just brought in Jordan James on loan with an option of 5m Euros to replace a player we paid £20m+ for last summer!

Haven't you missed someone important from your outgoing list? (JV9) I would say it's a 7/10. We have sold some players that were overpaid and not performing to what they were paid, a good keeper who was replaceable, a talented player who didn't want to be here and a winger whose skills weren't really what the manager wants. We have strengthen positions that needed strengthening, Jordan James adds a bit of steel and energy to the midfield, Aaron Ramsey is a talented player if he stays fit and Carranza is a striker who may be able to scroe goals, although we will have to wait and see.
