We aren't going to get a manager with a succession of promotions and/or trophies who has never failed. Those managers won't come too Leicester at the moment. We have a choice of average managers who have done ok or we take a risk on a manager who has the potential to be amazing or a total disaster.

Shouldn't we add Cifuentes to this?

It's like there are two different strategies, I think Top wants us to play possession based Man City-lite football and Rudkin is going for an experienced 'done it before' manager, so we have Rohl and Cifuentes against Dyche, Wilder and O'Neil. Or they don't have a clue and are picking managers at random!

Maybe, as has been said before, Chansiri is being a tit and is dragging this out to spite Rohl. Maybe Top and Rudkin have learnt from past mistakes where they went for their third, fourth, fifth choice and are sticking with their preffered candidate.

If they have decided that Rohl is 'the one' then they should wait as long as it takes, as long as it is done before the start of the season.

Maybe they don't feel any urgency because King is doing a good enough job for pre-season Maybe they think that without a manager to sanction sales we will keep hold of Hermansen and El Khanous. Maybe they are planning to hire a manager who prefers the same style of play as Maresca and that the players are already comfortable with that. Maybe... Nah, you're right, we're ****ed.

I see a lot of references to Nelson alongside the youth stars, but he is muct further along in his development. Nelson and Okoli should be our first choice centre back pairing. Alves is a reserve winger or 10. The others should be given minutes to develop and encourage them where possible, with the occassional start.

Most of them don't currenntly have professional contracts (Monga, Evans, Page, Aluko), so I wouldn't have thought they can go on loan. Happy to be corrected.

Do we have any good young defensive midfielders in the academy? The only one I can think of is Brandon Cover, who played there a few times under Maresca.
