  1. His hesitancy to answer the question on whether Maresca was happy with the way in which the heirarchy at the club are handling the current situation and the strategy going forward was pretty telling IMO. Reading between the lines, he was indirectly questioning the "people in the office." I like Balagué, but he gives very strong "the manager's my mate" vibes at time. Loves to leverage his connections for a bit of clout and to plug his events, but at the same time gives very little away.
  2. Someone wants to upgrade to fresh crustacean baguettes on match day.
  3. We're talking about an electorate who will form an opinion based on one photograph published on the front page of a newspaper. And yes, the answer is thick people.
  4. Ah well, we’ve had a good go until the red card ruined the game. At half time it looked like we were going out with a whimper. Not too disheartening TBH.
  5. Great save Jakub.
  6. I’m actually bored. It’s boring.
  7. Haha what is that.
  8. Newcastle have been dog bob.
  9. Also, it's just discussion. The mood of the discussion tends to reflect what's happening at the football club. News about a dire financial situation, a crap run of form, and a lot of uncertainty around the immediate future is of course going to stir up negativity. I don't really get threads like this TBH.
  10. Yeah, this'll do nicely for my office wall.
  11. Probably specially commissioned or it's from a production music library.
  12. IDK, I like the RL podcasts. Piper's probably their best contributor, Fryatt's knowledgeable but tone of voice sounds exactly like his emoticonamajig on here. At least they mix it up with Nuge and Howard, although not convinced either watch that much of us. He was a roving EFL reporter for Talkshite for a while. No idea whether he's still there. Still curious as to why he exited RL and there's been little-to-no mention of him since. Seems very much like he left under a bit of a cloud.
  13. Stopped posting once the Tories dropped off a cliff in the polls.
  14. It really depends on the amount of damage. Some scaffolders when setting up outside my house decided to leave two scaffold-pole shaped gouges in the back and side of my car. It wasn't woth the long-term hit to my insurance, they were also just fvcking cretinous, and I just ended up coughing up £700 at a bodyshop to fix it. Plastic bumpers can be filled and resprayed, but it's usually not that cost effective. Definitely seek out some quotes from a well-reviewed bodyshop or two, though. Worst case, I'd say try Ebay and / or quotes from online breaker search engines for a new front bumper. There's some going for £80. Depending on your car's colour, you might get lucky. Otherwise its the cost of a bumper plus respray.
  15. *Record Scratch* *Freeze Frame* "Yep, that's me... You're probably wondering how I got into this situation"
  16. "Like many amateur photographers, I do experiment with editing"
  17. I'd love to see an VIII and IX remake. The PS1 classics plus X are peak Final Fantasy but the PS2 era games still hold up pretty well. But they've all but said that the FF7 remake was so massive that wouldn't be doing another. I've tried this recently. It's pretty solid once you get your head around the game mechanics, and a welcome change of pace from tired dogshit like CoD. It's brutal though. I'll sometimes just spend entire games just dying repeatedly. Usually from some invisible player about a mile away.
  18. I can't tell what's real anymore.
  19. Just looks like one of those "best take" composites. Pure Streisand effect though, this. Massive PR own goal.
  20. The standard of the refs in this country man.
  21. I love this club.
  22. I hate this club
  23. Cack free kick that.
