We really need to start asking some questions about why we’ve got so many injuries. I know we can’t help AFCON or Covid but the amount of injured players we’ve had in the last 2 years is crazy

He looked good at Palace in an old school English full back sense, he tackled and cleared the ball brilliantly but he’s far from the modern full back that’s needed in todays game like Ricky P, Trippier or TAA. I remember someone on here saying when UTD bought AWB that they’d pair £50m for a 21 year old Danny Simpson the same year we have him away for nothing.

I’ve always thought he was massively overrated, for every goal he scores or lucky assist he gets he tries to play a 40 years cross field pass and hits it out for a throw in or to the oppositions full back.

I think there will be very few loans across this window for any club. With the amount of players getting Covid those fringe players may have an important role to play for their current teams whereas any previous season they’d be surplus to requirements.

They’ve been using sin bins for the last 2 or 3 seasons at youth and grass roots levels just for dissent, it’s not really working because of the lack of consistency but there’s definitely potential to use them more.

I really don’t know what the answer is here. Teams can’t play with only 12-13 players but at the same time teams can’t play 3-4 games a week come April. One things for sure, the World Cup really needs binning off now, as if it wasn’t already an appalling idea now with Covid just sack it off.

Technically you’re not supposed to but my kids have sometimes sat with my dad using his partners senior citizens ticket. It just flashes a different colour light at the turnstile showing the stewards a concession ticket not specifically junior or senior. As long as they’ve no reason to look at your ticket closely you’ll be fine.

He’s played pretty much 90 minutes every game since he’s been here but for the last few seasons he’s got to Christmas and been injured, even had a couple of operations at that time of year and he’s taking longer to recover to full fitness. Daka was brought in as his long term replacement so I’m sure now that he’s been at the club for a few months now we’ll see him introduced more and more after 60 minutes and then maybe given the odd start at the busy Christmas period when Vardy can be an impact sub for the last 30.
