  1. Lost all confidence and his mojo since he got injured last autumn
  2. Lost his mojo and confidence
  3. Thansk god we sacked copper - he’d have exploded after those two calls !
  4. We were playing better back then aswell!
  5. True but hardly anyone chooses to watch our game in full unless it’s the chosen one
  6. I don think you’re guessing I think this (and the comments re next seasons first team squad) are exactly that they’ve at least tried to learn from nyoni and the lad that went to Man City. Raise the profiles and get more dosh.
  7. Yeah - I’m sorry ……..won’t happen again ………
  8. Length of a mangers contract isn’t relevant when compared to a player. A player has to be paid out in full. A manager will usually have a capped period of notice after termination of their contract - often 12 months.
  9. Very rude about the Qataris …. They’re still paying off the previous administration
  10. Doesn’t rudkin need to to be able to add up to do whelan’s job ??
  11. Yes I know that they’re common but people are assuming that this deal was like that and we have no evidence whatsoever that this is the case I’ve seen plenty of deals like this described as ‘option to buy which becomes an obligation on promotion or no of games played’. Usually if it’s loan with straight obligation (which is more than possible here as that’s all we’ve had via ornstein) then that means the buying club want to stick the fee into their next financial year. That’s perhaps what made us reject.
  12. There’s no evidence that it was there’s more evidence that it isn’t - as in it wasn’t mentioned by ornstein. an obligation based on meeting criteria isn’t an obligation is it !
  13. You know no more than anyone else does There’s no deal agreed so we wont find out
  14. Hence my question when the squads have to be submitted by
  15. When do we have to submit our 25 man squad !
  16. There’s no criteria on an obligation ……. its an obligation if it’s an obligation based on criteria being met then it’s an option that becomes an obligation
  17. David copperfield
  18. Maybe if we agree for him to go to Madrid when he’s 18 then that’s our best way of keeping him for a couple seasons
  19. Trumps already agreed to delay the Mexican tariffs on the basis that they will police the border better there is a lot of bluster with him but it’s not good for markets. (Or maybe it is for those trading daily ). Also not good for political stability but then he’s not bothered about that - just wants his peace prize 😄
  20. If that’s true then fine but I haven’t read that interpretation from a journo.
  21. Maybe they targeted kasey because they couldn’t get adingra into the deal. Now they can’t get Kasey the whole thing falls apart
  22. We should have players lined up for all positions in case we get a late bid we can’t refuse this exposes Rudkin even more than we already thought an obligation is an obligation. Usually would say an option unless promoted in which case it becomes an obligation (as per fatawu last season)
  23. If it’s 8+2 then there’s no gamble. We get 8 even if they dont go up
  24. Ornstein is usually reliable Can only think we are relying on him next season in the championship so don’t want to sell for that reason. it’s an astonishing call not to take £8m (although as pointed out above it won’t help psr this season as sale would be 1 July) however we could do with £8m of pure profit on our books next season with reduced allowable losses
  25. They wouldn’t sell right now cos we aren’t in a position to sell a fifteen y o we could negotiate compensation tbh, if he’s going I’d rather he went to Madrid than Man City
