I’m sure that @StriderHiryu will pick this up on his tactical analysis but it looks to me as though they’ve set up perfectly to cut off all passing lanes into Ricky how would they have prepared for that ?????. -
Must have a knock cos Thomas is on the bench

Half an hour extra planning for nuno theres absolutely nothing to be gained by leaking line ups and there’s plenty to lose As an example, if we’d known for sure that Everton were short at left back so would have to play young there then we might have made some plans re bringing fatawu on earlier than planned. Of course it’s only 39 mins but too level coaches can use that time productively -

He scored for Burnley and he did celebrate - though it wasn’t a full on knee slide job -
Politicians deciding how to run things outside politics is scary the independent regulator (assume won’t be one person ) should be looking at things and making judgments - not being prompted by politicians. If it looks like this then I doubt we’ll get anyone decent putting themselves forward for the regulator role.

Mate - it was the proper champions cup - every team a league winner. before all the ‘big teams’ bought all the best players Whilst malmo were clearly not the strongest team in the tournament, that’s what sometimes happens in cup competitions. (Remember tranmere?) -
I have a feeling that if we stay up then mads may not get his move until the following summer - buying club may not be ready till then and he will want to be no1 for Denmark going into the World Cup. (If the buying club is Chelsea then could well be next summer.)

I hope this season doesnt end up with us having stuck him in the shop window ahead of his sale next summer to help psr

MGW makes a big difference no idea if he’ll be fit enough to play on Friday Hudson Odoi limped off aswell they’ll be a very good test playing wood means they’re happy to ‘stick it in the mixer’ (which we’ve never been great at dealing with) -

No director of football worth their salt would have agreed to that ……… -
there is a saying that the quickest way for a wealthy person to lose some of that wealth is to buy a football club. Not many football clubs make a profit. I reckon we would be worth max £250m now. (And that’s gone up recently due to performances of players like mads and fats) king power have basically written off way more than that over the period they’ve owned us. you can’t really put a value on the uplift of their brand over the period but I wouldn’t say that just investing cash into shares in a premier league football club is ever going to be retrieved unless you get lucky (or you employ very good people who get lucky).

He has a problem atm with textor who clearly doesn’t want to be there any longer. I wonder if parish has sole discretion over decisions like that. Of course textor hardly wants to see his investment shrink with a relegation but you wonder how much the owners are all on the same page.

Same as having a cup or euro game in the week Four days with a home game and then an away game where they don’t have to travel seems reasonable to me

Financially, maguire is clear and unlikely to be beaten. this kid seems to have it all - I would expect him to fit Man City, arsenal or Chelsea best and given the existing situation, I can see Chelsea making a move at the end of the season. (Unless ederson heads off ).
