2 high profile cases over the last two days have seen initial not guilty pleas changes to guilty at second hearings. (Southport murderer and the bushey crossbow killer). am I missing something here? does this happen a lot ? Presumably this likely means that families of victims miss the perpetrator of the crime admitting their guilt because they probably doesn’t attend second hearings. That surely can’t be a major reason ??

The difference is that they don’t seem scared to sell players at the top of their value because they recruit replacements ahead of getting enquiries we failed to do this. Players like youri, cags, madders should have been sold half way through their contracts when they were in big demand but we didn’t have replacements because were generally crap at recruitment

Afraid that’s unlikely to be true mads was saving efforts that he wasn’t expected to Jacub is way ahead of ward as a keeper but he isn’t saving stuff that you think - ‘wow, how has he saved that’. Mads was doing that. Without his injury we’d have nicked a few more points given that some games we’ve lost since were fairly tight.

It’s not like he’s getting lots of game time to get into any rhythm. Some players need that. he maybe in poor form, lacking confidence - he may need more game time but he’s not nearly as bad as some are making out on here.

Not sure what they’re doing in training but when VK, BEK and mavs were with possession on the left side there seemed to be no pre conceived pattern of play to take us to a cross from behind their full back or to break into the penalty area. Fulham on their left side had many as we saw through the game. (And changing their wide players too ).

Could be that the deal has a sum attached to it to include everything. If the agent screws us too much (which seems to happen a lot ) then the only place to get that back from is the selling club or our budget. both will cause delays to getting things signed off - our end depending on who has final authority to sign off on budget variances.

I think we push the envelope on negs as far as we can. Seems strange seeing as give players such fantastic contracts. So although the deal is all agreed we probably try to pinch another 500k here or there which means we can’t begin any background work with the authorities on registrations and permits because we’re giving the impression that ‘this 500k’ is a potential deal breaker.
