Arsenal (A) Match Thread - 15:00PM 28th Sept

Would love a result- this lot are the weirdest and most annoying fanbase in the country. Win 1-0 today then lose 3-0 to Bournemouth next week. Proper Leicester. -

Not even just Everton. I knew when he stopped the game for 2 minutes pointing at his watch whilst the linesman sorted himself out that it wouldn't be reflected in stoppage time. Crazy how easy it is to get away with it. The worst was when subs were made, ref signalled play on and Pickford was stood on the other side of his 6-yard box with ball in hand. Took another minute to kick it. Almost like they're completely blind to it. Spineless, incompetent and gullible. -
The most Ipswich goal imaginable.

I'd love to know how long the ball was in play during the second half- I'd guess no more than 25 minutes. God knows where they plucked 4 minutes from.

Match Ratings: Leicester City 1-1 Everton - Vote Now
Ted Maul replied to Mark's topic in Leicester City Forum
Think those 2 awful crosses from Winks at the end probably had an impact on his rating. -
Think that's being generous. They were far better than us first half and created better chances in the second, even when we were on top. Can't remember Pickford making a save.
-
He'll have a word with Cooper and tell him to play Ricardo?
-
At this stage... probably as good as we could ask for.
-
I love this club.

Patel bowled within 3 seconds of me putting on the stream. Back to work I think.

Yeah, I agree. I don't agree that forest are magic though.

I honestly don't see football in the same light any more. VAR has given the officials an excuse to do as they please by technicality, and for some reason they're all happy to oblige. In what world is that handball?
-
That's a hideous decision.
-
2 year contract, fair enough. He'll do a job.
-
I'd imagine the amount of opportunities he's had is significantly lower than strikers playing for the top clubs in that time. I don't know how xG works, is it only calculated if you take a shot?
-
The more I think about that, the crazier it is. THE most deadly striker in the top flight of English football over 2 entire decades. By at least 2.1% as well. And he plays for an unfashionable club somewhere in the midlands.
-
Saved me typing it out.
-
Nah, the attitude will be right. Just a question of quality.
-
You know what, as long as this is alongside signing another proper forward, I'm not that against this. Saw enough from Facundo on Monday to know he'll do a job. 3 years would be a push, mind.
-
Mine too, and I wasn't even there. That noise... Bergkamp's hattrick becoming legend and being safe in the knowledge that we ruined it somewhat by snatching a 98th minute point. Beautiful.
-
Here's a collector's item... a Forest post insisting that they absolutely do not care about Leicester... with the majority of replies arguing that there is (or certainly was) a rivalry.
-
Haaland on there already he'll be top of every single one of these stats in a couple of years.

Colossus of Rhodes style, across the Soar.

Probably have to bear in mind that there would have been some nerves for him last night, coming back to play in front of us after how things ended last time. Thought he grew into the game well and looked very accomplished second half- put a proper shift in, a lot of their attacks seemed to focus on the overload on that side of the pitch.

Thought Spurs fans were really poor from SK1 to be honest. Only really heard them for a few minutes after they scored.
