You have to remember things changed for the worst for the Club after the tragedy of the Crash. Gone was the Man who owned everything and could make things happen by clicking his fingers. Now the Club is run by a Board of Directors. Top is just the Chairman. Now while that titile carries a lot of weight, He's still controlled by and answerable to the Board. That's a massive change for the Club, Even more so when 3 of them are women who probably don't understand football. It's my guess that Top is possibly preparing a pathway towards a future buy out from KP. Which would be the best outcome going forward.

That's not compromising your principles while you work towards recruiting the players to play your system. However Rohl, Powell, King would make a decent Management team, Even more so when two of them know the Club well.

If Martin is a progressive Manager then he has to have learnt something from his mistakes and produce better players and results. I hope he brings in Darling form Swansea if he does come here. That would be a decent start.
