Why didn't he accept instruction like Mads, Mav, Fats, Wilf, KDH etc. All players Enzo improved immensely. Rogers signed him but he wasn't to keen on him either after seeing him up close. Yes, he went to Bologna and done ok, He didn't play all games and Bologna clearly don't think him good enough to buy him for a modest sum. But we'll see as the how he develops under Cooper as the season develops.

Cooper has'nt started him in our few friendlies and that usually tells you something, plus he was poor when he did come on against Palermo.

I agree with what you say, But Enzo was prepared to play Doyle and JJ there which is why Enzo wanted him to play the left side of a three. The rest we know, He chose to leave for Italy where he done ok.

Doak is a Winger, So he won't be competing for the Midfield positions. I believe he can play on both Wings so I'd say it's to provide competition for Fats and Mav on the wings. Or maybe Cooper is going to move one of them inside to play as an 8 or 10. As he's been experimenting with them the few friendlies so far.

I'm a bit worried now that we're signing players too many players maybe not fit for the premiership. When he was at Forest I thought it was the Owners throwing lots of players at him. Now I'm not so sure. I'd like to see us sign some real prem quality who can compete, Otherwise the senior players might throw in the Towel early. You can't keep 25 players happy if they're of the quality required. We should have a first team squad of 16 maybe 18 with the rest knowing they'll play only if we suffer injurues.

I dont think he's nearly as mobile as Kane, If he was I'd feel a lot happier about him. I'm all for giving him a go but we go with him then we're in trouble if he does'nt deliver. To have any chance this season we really need a 20 + goal Striker along with Vardy and possibly Daka and let Cannon gain more experience on a loan where he'll likely play every game.

The little I've seen of Cannon is he's a Box player or Poacher in a similar mould as Greaves, Cottee, or Clark. Two of which played for us. Cannon has a lot to live up to, I suspect he'll be loaned out this season as I don't think he's quite ready for the Premiership yet.

Yes, our fitness levels looked fine, A little more understanding between the players and less careless passes and we could have won that game. We are too reliant on Winks in midfield to create, He's going to be targetted in the Premiership unless we get a quality ball caring midfielder in along side of him. At the back I'd go with Coady Vesty and the new lad with Ricardo and JJ. As we are going to be doing a lot of defending this season. Goals are going to be our problem unless we get a quality Striker and midfielder in. Still time to sign a few players but they have to be quality and ready to go.

I'd add Fatawua and NDiddi to that, They both tried to be positive tonight.

We definitely need a focal point up top, Daka doesn't offer enough which is why players wont pass to him.

For the same reason Chelsea sold Kevin De Bruine. They have so many young players they need to move on some every season. Regardless.

Another one of Rogers terrible buys, No surprise there. Soutter should have been sold last season as Enzo clearly preferred Vesty and Coady over him. I'm guess we'll 10 million + on him.
