Tell him he can go only if and when his maw finds a club for Soumare and Daka! -
"Gastrointestinal issues"... He's watched us play then?

It's funny how all these clubs weren't interested when he had a set clause... I get waiting for teams hamstrung by PSR but if Saudi teams wanted him, they would have signed him when we couldn't control the fee. -
I'm not sure about that. He's out of contract next year. He doesn't play well, he doesn't get a move to the level that he will want.

Let's see how our squad looks after the window closes. -

If Dorsetts tweet is accurate and we HAVE covered PSR before selling Bilal, imagine what actually having a sponsor would do for us... -

My thoughts exactly. Even if we sell VK and Faes we will still need to replace them AND sign a CM and ST which we need anyway. I still think someone will meet that price late on before deadline. -

Giving how he put himself about in the first game or so and presentations season, he doesn't APPEAR to be sulking but let's see. I'm just worried that this all but seals the fact no one will come in if we've JUST covered PSR. It's definately a bonus keeping him but we 100% need a striker and CM even if no one else leaves. -

....OR Palace are looking at alternatives since Spurs joined the race. -
Yeah, all of this is been highly publicised. The club rejected a bif for him last week (they reportedly want £15m) and then didn't play him at the weekend. Picking an AMC over him and he refused to come off the bench in the 60th minute when they were chasing the game.
-
Well, ofcourse it isn't true. The EPL have to announce teams that are under restrictions and they haven't announced we are under any embargo.
-
What Nixon story?
-
Which i would usually understand but maybe you would pick a club that DIDN'T have connections to both Charlotte AND Celtic to do that? You have to imagine that both Smith and Rodgers could find out if our interest was genuine or not with a single phone call...
-
Why though?
-
Mostly as a 10 in the last couple of years. Of his last 50 games, 30 were as a 10. 10 were at rw and 10 in CM.
-
Ah, got you. I have no idea what Eddy was on at Palace but it's not out with the realms of possibility that they DID triple his wages if there was competition to sign him at the time.
-
I'm not really following the relevance of your point, sorry. I was simply saying that Stengs is likely to be willing to move for around £30k a week...
-
The very fact that Celtic appear to think they can sign him means he would likely accept around £30k a week because they wouldn't be offering him much more than that and I doubt that they would be wasting time on a player who they know would demand more than they were willing to pay.
-
In his last 50 games, he has played AMC 30 times, CM 10 times and RW 10 times. Looks like a Bilal replacement to me.

James Justin (signed for Leeds, official. 10m.)

Which is 100% and issue, especially with our track record. Although, I'm stupidly allowing myself to naively believe that we done it to assess who we could shift and how much before moving to get who we need in. That's why I think it will be predominantly loans. Ofcourse, I know deep down we won't do anywhere near what we need to, if anything but I'm choosing the gullible, painful path here.
