We kept Ruud on for over a month and sacked him 5 days before the new financial year.... not making sense is our jam.
-
Clearly the OP is on the wind up. He cut the lads hair who was back home visiting and is running with it. That would be my guess.
-
You can't post there..... out of embarrassment or....??? Just kidding man. I couldn't really care less, if you are in the know or not. It will or won't happen and the rest is just what it is.
-
I agree, £20m would be my cut off as well.
-
He's a class GK but I'd sell him in a heartbeat if it meant having cash to get one or two decent strikers. Weaken one position to benefit the team as a whole.
-
I highly doubt Birmingham will be signing any more strikers. They have Stansfield, Dykes, May and have just signed Kyogo. Tyler Roberts there as well.
-
I have no problem at all with Rohl coming in and getting poached in a year. Not only does that mean that he's done a good job and we will get payment for him leaving but it will also mean that he leaves us in a better position than we are now, making is a more attractive proposition for a replacement.

I don't see anything in the Che Adams pic. He's a Leicester lad, I imagine he's home visiting before going back to Italy. If he were to sign, I wouldn't be too keen on it. He's not a natural goalscorer and would cost a decent amount for what he is.

Awesome. A rich family, headed by a son, living off his dad's name who fans feel doesn't communicate well, is out of touch with the fan base and makes poor business decisions! Something new and exciting!!

Leicester vs Peterborough United - Pre-Season

Obviously, it is exciting seing some of these young players coming through but it's important to remember that a lot of these lads are 16/17 and putting the pressure of expecting them to contribute over an entire season in a promotion challenge would be unfair to them and potentially harmful to their development. -

It IS a big day for some of those players. The likes of Goldong, Cartright, Marcal etc. It's their chance to show that we might not need to sign someone for that position and they can contribute to the squad this year as opposed to be punted out on loan. -

In the grand scale of things, playing in training gear isn't too much to worry about but it does give off a 'doing PE in trousers and a Polo because we forgot our gym clothes' vibe. -

There are probably about 8 players in that starting line-up who could reasonably expect to start in our first game. -
Premier League has charged LCFC with an alleged breach of PSR

I've wondered that myself. -
Thats Hamza, Ndidi, Mcateer back. Still not saw Vesty.
-
I like most of these. 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, 9th and 10th.

Why bother changing the 6 seconds rule? It's not like it was EVER enforced. Ever! So what's the point in adding 2 more seconds?

Poor Dan has just been outed! Lol

This is what's making me most nervous. Yes, what you say makes perfect logical sense but just look at the Ruud sacking itself. It made sense to sack him immediately after the season ended. Alternatively, it made sense to wait until the new accounting year. We did neither, we kept Ruud until 5 days before the new financial season and THEN sacked him. Logic isn't our friend here at Leicester as I'm sure you know. Would you be at all shocked if we dragged our heels for a few more weeks and then went for someone we could have gotten months ago?
-
It's not training I'm worried about but rather signings. If we are to be shopping in the loans/free transfer market like many expect, there will be a lot of competition for those players. The quicker we go for our targets the better but it wouldn't be ideal to do that without an input of the guy who will be playing them. I'm not at panic stations yet and yes, I can see the logic of holding off to get our man for the best possible price but it SHOULD be in our minds that it needs to be sorted sooner rather than later.
-
I don't know why you do it to yourself. Danny Ings or Callum Wilson. Take your pick.
-
I didn't see, Bilal, Hamza, Vesty, Coady or Ayew in the training videos. Did I miss them/any reason for them not being there? Anyone else noticeably missing?
