As a Cowboys fan, I can honestly say that no teams fanbase deserve this more than the Cowboys.
-
I watched the opening drive from each team and turned it off. No point. Poor decision making, silly penalties, same old Cowboys. They lost this game in the first 5 minutes.
-
As far as I can tell, he played further forward earlier in his career but has gotten deeper and deeper the more injuries pile up so I reckon it all depends on how fit we can keep him.
-
KDH and Mavididi alone have scored two fewer goals than all four of our strikers combined... I imagine the goals will continue to come from the same place that they have all season, our CM and wingers.
-
The last two seasons have been OK. Missing 6 games this season and last. Before that, isn't great reading... probably averaging about 15 missed games a year over his career.
-
Big game for Marcal. No one is really pushing Mavididi for that LW slot, this is a chance for him to show, he can be that guy.
-
Probably fcuking fell out the transfer window and broke his hip!
-
It's SMART but paying two peoples wages to do so just isn't a position we are in. So no, I wouldn't agree that it is realistic.
-
Wether it's FFP or not, we still can't afford to pay player good wages to train for six months AND add more players to the squad... that's just not realistic.
-
Hume in the inverted RB slot with Ricardo filling in as an 8 until Ndidi is back? He has done well when naturally pushing forward from deep this season.
-
I'm wondering if the rumours about Hume could mean Ricardo will be pushed into a #8 position...
-
I reckon it would either be this or a LCB, leaving JJ to cover the left side and Hamza to cover Winks.
-
I would be extremely surprised if we sold Justin. Enzo seems to really like JJ and I think it stretches all the way back to when Maresca first visited the training ground and JJ was there training whilst everyone else was away enjoying their summer. He seemed really impressed at the time and has mentioned it more than once since. Justin was always a name that Enzo brought up in interviews, even when not playing. He seems to genuinely like him and I doubt he will be sold. Souttar is the obvious name to go, Nelson on loan makes sense too.
-
Not really sure if this is good news or not... I suppose it depends on the injury. If he's back in 3 weeks and Nigeria go on to the finals, it would be a good thing but if it's a long injury and he's out longer than he would be on International duty... What makes it weirder is that it's him AND Nacho, alongside Fatawu rumoured to have declined a call up.
-
Well, the article I read said there was a rumour that he declined a call up in order to hit that number of games to sign with us but Maresca said he doesn't know if there is truth to that.
-
Even considering that, it's hard to twist hos words to make him talking about an obligation make sense...
-
Just saw a quote from Enzo, talking about how the club has OPTIONS to buy him in the summer and its good he is staying here during AFCON to convince us to sign him.

If we sold Iheanacho, I'd be tempted with taking a chance on Bojan Miovski at Aberdeen. Only 24. 6'3. Left footed (gives us something different) Big, strong. Good hold up play. Ice cold in front of goal. Intelligent movement. Shouldn't cost a whole lot. Granted, he's not proven at a high level but his price would reflect that which would mean it's a low risk. He's a player I've saw a decent bit of and I like him a lot. With essentially a 1 in 2 record for Aberdeen, I think he's worth a shout at around £7m.

Huddersfield (H) 4-1 - New Years Day - Post-Match Thread

It just goes to show the strength in depth we have over the rest of the league when the busiest period of the season is when we pull away from the pack. -
Ideal window for me would be... Ward and/or Iversen out. Souttar out. Praet out. Jacob Greaves in. Left footed CB who can play LB and would be ideal for the LCB/LB hybrid role. Gronbaek or Carvalho in. A no.8 who can create goals but also cover wingers. Particuarly during AFCON. I would love a striker that fits how Enzo would want to play. Someone who can come deep, link with the players that go beyond him. We only have Nacho who can really do that and for whatever reason, he's not performed. If we could sell him, maybe loan out Cannon and get one in with Daka/Vardy offering something different it would be ideal but I have no idea who.
-
There's hating him, then there is being forced to play Greg Taylor!

From the age of about 10-14 I spent almost every birthday at an old firm game as it was either on my Birthday or the day before. This was late 90s and I have no idea of the away allocations but the atmosphere was always electric. It maybe wasn't fair of me to say that there was "no" atmosphere at games now but in comparison to what is used to be...
-
Not in my opinion no. A great atmosphere is generated by two opposing fans. Those particular set of fans generated a great atmosphere because of their hatred for each other. Sure for a sing along it's great but so is a Taylor swift concert.
-
It's a bit of a shame what's happened to the OF game. Very little ability. Barely any intensity (first red card in 12 games or something) and no atmosphere anymore since the took away, away fans... Also.... Dessers is an abomination of a footballer.

His pressing created both goals. It says a lot that for all his skill and talent that it was his workrate that created the opportunities
