  1. Obviously I hope we win the league but if I could pick a team to finish behind us, it would be Ipswich. Not because I have a bit of a soft spot for them (which I do, and have ever since your crazy PL season back in the early 2000s when Marcus Stewart was on a rampage) but because so far, you deserve it. My initial thought was that you might not have the squad to go deep into the season but I've since noticed just how much you rotate your first 11 which certainly indicates that the squad is deeper than some may think. Good luck for the rest of the season but I hope we ruin your Christmas! Lol.
  2. First team this season to stop us playing our game and force us to play theirs and I include Hull in that, so fair play to them. They also should have had a penalty. Having said that... GREAT win! We had to change our game plan, fight, get a bit nasty, foul them, slow and disrupt play and grind out the win and that's exactly what we done.
  3. TWO GK'S!!! LETS RIOT!!
  4. It'll be Wanya for sure!
  5. He seems like such a likeable character to have around. Not to mention his ability and the fact he's only 19, with loads of room for growth.
  6. I thought Mavididi and Fatawu were very good today. Their final ball wasn't always there but they definitely seemed more dangerous. I don't think it's coincidental that Enzo mentioned them both as players he worked closely with during the break and they all of a sudden seemed to improve. More signs of his competence as a man manager.
  7. That should have been a bit of a humping! We prob created more clear chances in that game than we have in most this season. A little wasteful but didn't matter in the end.
  8. Any streams guys? Much appreciated.
  9. It's so stupid. I had a quick glance, if you apply the same restrictions and only count non penalties at the World Cup/European finals then Shearer only scored 6 goals for England. It's utter nonsense.
  10. I know but to be honest, I'm Scottish so I'm a massive fan of the nations league.
  11. Just saw a pretty crazy thing where Ireland still have a chance of getting a playoff spot for the euros as long as they LOSE to Netherlands in their upcoming game!
  12. Buzzing!
  13. Not that I'm being greedy but a draw would be ideal! We qualify but Spain stay in second place...
  14. C'mon the Spaniards!!
  15. That's the problem isn't it? Fight real boxers and chance getting hurt for sh!t money or join the fcuking circus for crazy money...
  16. Some of the tickets to that nonsense where 2 grand!
  17. Fury didn't win that. No one did but KSI lost it less than Fury did.
  18. Hi Dillon!
  19. That was pathetic! Imagine "fighting" one of the Paul brothers and it's YOU who looks like the fanny! That's impressive in its own right!
  20. Oh well, didn't expect anything from that game. As long as Norway don't beat Spain midweek, we are through so that's all that matters.
  21. One thing I can't wrap my head around is the reasoning for Hamas' recent actions. Until the recent atrocities, the general public opinion of support was with the Palestinian people and in association, with Hamas. The recent violence has not only changed that but brought on horrendous retaliatory violence to their people which will lose them support, not least with people worldwide but people who elected them and for what? They won't win a war with Israel... So why? I don't get it.
  22. I'm fairly ignorant to a lot of what has happened in this conflict so this maybe a stupid point and I'm going to embarass myself her, please feel free to educate me but hasn't the conflict between Israel and Palestine existed since the 40s? That's a full 40 years before Hamas were ever formed, if Israel were ever serious about a two state solution, I'd imagine that it would have happened long before the people of Palastine ever elected them. My understanding is that they were elected out of desperation in light of Israels attacks on Palastine and its inability to defend itself without an armed forces as well as the corruption in its government. Which is what I think is really meant by the "more moderate Palestinian authority" part of your quote above. A Palestinian government who are easier to corrupt and bribe. I should add that I'm in no way supportive of Hamas or their actions and feel that they've abused the power given to them by the Palestinian people to serve their own, more sinister agenda.
  23. Me too. The bellends on the 10 o'clock show thought it would be hilarious to deliberately spoil it just after it came out.
  24. I agree. Happy for him rediscovering some form and it could be instrumental in seeing us go up but he would also benefit greatly from it as it would make him an attractive free transfer for many clubs which would lead to him getting a good deal to finish his career.
  25. Tbh, Jewish heritage or not, I think a LOT of people could benefit from keeping their mouth shut on this. In my younger days I was quite outspoken on the issue but with age, I realised that, it's an intricately complicated issue that like most people, i don't fully understand. Look at the Celtic fans at the weekend for example...
