Well, Page is in, plus we have that solid and mobile midfield.

Another method that has worked for me, is wait until the water has seeped away to a reasonable level, then tip a bucket of water down there. The rapid and quick pressure may just shift it.

Our first house, totally clueless on such matters, so asked my dad. Get me a rag he said. He wrapped it around his hand and plunged it into the bowl. A couple of plunges and away it all went. For subsequent blockages though, I tied a rag around a piece of wood and used that as a plunger. Threw it away afterwards.

I wonder if they shouted 'Fore' as they came down.

Daft things you've seen on FoxesTalk

I posted that spending 1 million on a non league player was lunacy. I also stated that the club being bought by Thai business men wouldn't end well. Actually, that second one ........ -
This thread reminded me of when there were loads of 'Cash for Gold' ads on the TV. Jokers were sending in rocks and stones from their garden painted gold. I remember one guy had done it so many times, the company wrote to him pleading to him to stop.

That's most internet providers for you. There'll be folk, probably even in these boards, who switched from VM to Sky, for the exact same reasons.
-
I was switching to toob from Virgin when VM matched their pricing for me. So I stayed. If switching to toob, just check a shared IP address won't be a problem for you. Shared is default for toob, though you can pay extra for a dedicated address, which is what you have with most other providers. A shared IP address wasn't a deal breaker for me, nor for most other folk I would suggest. But for your peace of mind, Google shared IP address, so you can make an informed decision.

Does Sutton still do this? If you get on air, be prepared for him going on about entitled and Leicester have merely reverted to type.

I really stuggle to believe there are any reasons for his constant selection, other than he is showing something special in training. Even if that was the case, the fact he is lazy and often goes 'missing' in matches ought to set alarm bells ringing.

It is an imagined conversation I posted, of course, but inspired after what I heard during a BBC 5Live phone-in recently. Shopkeeper after shopkeeper after shopkeeper, calling in and all telling the same story, that shoplifting is increasingly NOT investigated/pursued by the police Sadly shop staff, often including women and older folk, are threatened. This is a very real, actual threat that has happened and nothing, or at best very little, action from law enforcement as a consequence. The article you linked to, actually quotes one of the WPCs stating that catcalling '..... can make someone feel really quite uncomfortable.' Shop staff have been made to feel a damn site more than 'uncomfortable' Re your last point: I have asked women I know their thoughts on this and typically they either just shrug their shoulders, say they ignore it, give the person some stick back, some have said it's never happened to them and, finally, I even had women say they have been quite flattered by a wolf whistle.
-
Shopkeeper: I called you over 2 hours ago to report shoplifting in progress in my store Police: I'm sorry sir but we had no spare officers to send to you. Shopkeeper: What the heck are they all doing? Well, for example, two WPCs were in plain clothes jogging around the area seeing if they drew any catcalling. If they did, they then contact other officers nearby, who then speak the person responsible. Shopkeeper: Seriously? Police: Yes sir. We have evidence that such actions may cause offence to some women.

Yes. Noticed this in the Sheff W match. In acres of space, so he then 'hides' behind a opposition player. Surely Marti and his team see this?
-
This would happen whilst my laptop is in for repair. I'm trying to convince Mrs.FFF it's a total coincidence.

Oh dear. Another person making a living online and shouting from the rooftops about it. I work in a school and too many students, when asked what they wish to do when they leave school, say they are going to be an online gamer or 'influencer'.
-
I'm on the fence. Is it a tinny word, or a woody word?
-
I can recall all too clearly, when there wasn't even ads around the pitch or elsewhere in the stadium. There wouldn't be too many in the programme either, though there always seemed to be one for Frank Berry Scrap yard on the back cover. Good ole days.....

Gone but not forgotten and certainly not the death list

Not much mention of this so far, even on the BBC website. Local girl I see. Blue Peter, such a big part of many child's life growing up. -
Send an SAE* I was given some old record singles the other day and one of the sleeves had a note stamped on the sleeve asking for you to send a SAE to the address below, for a complete list of their stock. * Stamped addressed envelope.

Holiday Question: We fancied a short break over in Norfolk, so Googled the dates and area we wanted and all the sites came up such as Booking.com. We found something on a site called Vrbo.com and booked a cottage. First time really using one of these sites but all went straight forward and we received a confirmation. The confirmation said the owner would be in touch with further details, such as access and so on. This was 4 days ago now. Although we dont travel there until 20th, should I have expected some contact by now, other than just automated ones?

Marti Cifuentes appointed new manager

I think there will be some discussions behind close doors along the lines of; we'll get a max 6 points deducted if we agree not to appeal, thereby saving the league further embarrassment. -
I know Russia doesn't do open, free and fair elections, so this is probably a non starter, but if Zelensky offered an election in the captured parts of Ukraine, so the folk could decide if they wished to fall under Russian rule, it could be a compromise? This vote could be monitored by the UN as well as Russian and Ukrainian officials to assure fairness. Putin reckons they are ethnic Russians in those lands he occupies and that was one of his reasons to invade, (I know I know) so let the people decide if they agree with him. Reading that back before posting, I can see that it almost certainly wouldn't happen. However, peace won't happen either if all sides dig their heels in
