Learnt today that the fella who cheated on Who Wants to be a Millionaire, lost 3 toes in a lawnmower accident some years later.

Imagine if he was president during 9/11. Reporter: Your thoughts Mr. President. Trump: A dark day for our country. Btw, I got my golf handicap down this morning.

He's 22 now, so assuming he gets the death penalty, I guess that takes him to about 52 years old by the time it is carried-out.

E bike injuries and deaths. They really do need to clamp down hard on these and scooters. I've been close to being cleared up by one of the prats riding them.

After the stick Forest fans gave us for sacking Cooper, here's an opportunity for them to take him back.

Like these roadside memorials that keep cropping up. Someone was killed in a traffic accident near us and over the coming days and weeks, a quite beautiful display of flowers, cards and so on were placed near the scene. Two weeks later and beyond, it looked like someone had fly tipped. Show some social responsibility and go back and either clear up or replace your 'memorial' The flag thing, is an interesting one. Palestinian flags were plentiful in areas of this city and I dare say elsewhere up and down the land. There were no where near the amount of comments that has followed the national flag that is now prevalent. I blame immigrants. Now that was tongue in cheek. However, growing up I can only ever recall the Union Flag being in evidence at England matches (I know, I know) and being flown over the houses of Parliament. The first flag I saw in my neighbourhood was a Jamaican one. There then followed a South African one. A Union Jack was then flown by another neighbour. It slowly propagated there after I would rather not see any flag waving at all. My only other observation would be however, national flags can be flown with impunity in other nations, here, there is a debate which, sadly, I've just added to.

They're getting less user friendly in my view. My Brother in law bought one recently that has freeview and Freely TV (internet based tv) He/we could never get the freeview side to operate, even the 'techspert' in Currys was bamboozled by it. Consequently, he accesses the main channels via Freely, which necessitates creating accounts with each network to enable access. This took an age. Now, several weeks later for some unknown reason, it's not letting him access it ITV without creating an account - which did, and has even been watching ITV until yesterday.

I guess you could try it on a website you use regularly, such as FT. Substitute the a in talk for a Cyrillic one and see if it is recognised. If not, it may suggest it would indeed take you elsewhere if such a site used a similar address.

I think it's a case of some of all generations and walks of life. Fwiw, my concerns for the climate and the general future of this planet, is based wholly on worrying for the future of my grandchildren and their children. Interestingly, speaking to fellow 'boomers', it is a concern they all seem to share. There has been the odd exception but, as I said, there is in each generation. I don't think there is a greater percentage in older folk either, moreover, its a demographic that can have swipes taken at it with impunity, as opposed to other groups of society who scream this ism or that ism if accused of something or offended. Anyway, must dash, I've got to call my phone network. My phone has just let out an awful screaming noise.

My wife, born and bred in UK several decades ago, as were her parents and her parents parents and her paren - you get the picture, received a call from 'immigration' on Friday Her current status is under threat. She was warned not to ignore this call. She told them to pi$$ off. No one has arrived yet to take her away. Actually, thinking about it, I might call them to check they've got our address.

You do realise that the police will have the original CCTV? It will not matter what you do to alter it. Have you checked the existing picture app on your phone? My wife recently discovered such wizardry on her phone, when playing around with Google photos.

More arrests at a Palestine Action protest. Not wishing to be flippant here, but if someone held a placard with 'I Support Action for Palestine', would that be OK? A bit like the difference between The People's Front for Judea and the Judean Peoples Front.
