Adverts: I can honestly say I pay them no attention at all. I hit 'Skip' on YouTube as soon as possible, they just pass me by when on the radio and ones on the TV often look 'familar' but I couldn't actually tell you what they were advertising . On the rare occasions I buy a weekend paper along with all the 'supplements', I quickly turn the pages with adverts without a second glance. Dunno if I'm typical with this? I guess not, because companies spend fortunes on ads.

I think you'll find that any such individuals approached by the police/border force, will have had their wallet and/or card and/or phone 'stolen' that very morning so are unable to prove their status.

Not really the same is it? I don't have a passport and even if I did, I wouldn't carry it with me all the time. Equally, I drive very little so rarely have that license with me. I guess I'm unusual because I dont always have my phone with me either. My brother hasn't even got a mobile. Will we get physical cards instead and need to carry them at all times? If you happen to leave it at home, would you have to 'present' it within a certain timescale at your local nick? Terrible idea and I'm calling it now, it won't happen.
