  1. Only saw the second half but I agree. Was that our worst 45 of the season so far? I’m afraid Yunus is turning out to be this years Perez.
  2. Sorry - I’m on my laptop not my tv?
  3. Just got in so apologies if this has been raised before: I can’t get the match on the red button? I’m being directed to subscribe to Now tv. Is this user error by me or have Sky - again - moved the goalposts?
  4. Hermansen Ricardo Faes JJ Winks KDH Fatawu Seven - at least - ain’t a bad start. McAteer, Coady, Yunus, Mavididi, Ndidi, Cannon, Stolarczyk all might be good enough. But absolutely, it’ll be a big summer, whichever league we’re in.
  5. You do realise you posted this on FT @sphericalfox?
  6. I haven’t seen any of the match @StriderHiryu but noticed one or two sensible posters in the match thread suggesting we looked leggy or tired rather than complacent. Thoughts? Has Enzo rotated enough?!?
  7. Not gonna lie, it’s not what it was when I was younger.
  8. Any news on Yunus’s absence?
  9. If he’s going to be what you hope he’ll be @StriderHiryu then he’s going to have to improve - significantly - his first touch, his decision-making and develop a useable right foot. He’s the most one-footed player we’ve had since Schlupp. I just can’t see it. But remember, I was the one who saw McAteer play for Wimbledon last season and confidently pronounced he’d never make it at PL or even Championship level!
  10. Watch it again and it’s illustrative of the tiredness we’d induced in PNE. Iheanacho plays the pass to Albrighton and sprints towards the box, leaving at least three PNE players chugging in his wake, like Tielemans chasing a referee!
  11. Agreed. More rotation. Start too for Fatawu and Albrighton at least on the bench.
  12. Agreed. More rotation. Start too for Fatawu and Albrighton at least on the bench.
  13. Ten men! We only need ten men!
  14. Lovely stuff @StriderHiryu My only slightly different take is that out of possession it was like watching LCFC v2022: KDH & Vardy leading the press with two banks of four behind them - pure Brendan-ball! Not sure how often Ricky stepped into midfield (three times? Four?) but I thought he played largely as an orthodox LB in an orthodox back four. Ironic really. We offload three LBs in the window because we don’t intend to play with FBs, then play a RB as a traditional LB!
  15. Right back, started the game in Bruges in the CL..
  16. Luis Hernandez? Fernandez?!?
  17. Derek Dougan? Allan Clarke? Me? Stan Collymore? Paul Dickov? Leo Ulloa?
  18. Nothing novel yesterday, a game we could as easily have won as lost, as we won the previous four when each could have been lost. Some points worth adding to the excellent posts above by @CosbehFox& @StriderHiryu - Delap’s domination of Doyle ultimately proved the difference. [And just when you start enjoying life away from that rigged circus, you find you’re still watching Man City]. I wonder why Enzo didn’t give him more protection, either by moving Vesty closer at LCB or dropping McAteer deeper? - KDH is looking increasingly like a fish out of water in this system, and I confess I thought it was tailor made for him at the start of the season. His basic ball skills and decision making just don’t appear good enough - the lack of creativity noted by others is obviously true. I don’t buy into the ‘should have started with the wingers who finished’ argument. Mavididi & Fatuwu were impactful because, arguably, they were against tiring opponents. It’s great finally to have four wingers to rotate & compete! - I’m looking forward already to this side’s evolution with Coady at the back and probably in time Praet & Casadei as the starting 8s - Faes has been wildly inconsistent this season, from imperious to shocking and back again. Does he have issues with spatial awareness? - no third keeper on the bench👏🏼And no Albrighton either ☹️ Onwards and upwards!
  19. I can’t believe that he’s gone
  20. Daka gone so we can tie this up now! #AnnounceCannon
  21. Oh. Maybe I shouldn’t have let it run…BT’s linkman calls us ‘a team built on solid foundations, a team on the up, and a team that’s here to stay’. Feel shit now.
  22. I’ve just re-watched the FA Cup Final win. If any of you are feeling as good as I’m feeling now, fair play to you!
  23. Pretty confident one of the Other 13, or even Spurs, will sign him on loan. Presume we need that to happen to sign Cannon?
