I find I’m half way between you @Finnegan and @StriderHiryu. I don’t think Daka would have to be replaced by a number 9, but nor can I see Mavididi, Praet or Akgun even ‘filling in’ there. Perhaps a better option is someone like Archer (or Piroe!), a versatile forward who could play well in any of the front three positions? But who that might be if Archer signs for Sheff U I have no idea!

*checks calendar* hmmm...seems to be August...?

Nah. Decent for sure. Part of the problem I have with the Castagne haters (and the same goes for the Tielelmans, Barnes, Maddison haters) is that for over 40 years my generation could only dream of players of that quality. From Bloomfield's great era we had only some brief outbursts of quality like Lineker and some of the O'Neill squad, until the 2014-2021 period. Rodgrigues was better than nearly every RB I've seen at Leicester since Whitworth until the very recent past. Sometimes you just don't know what you got til its gone!
-
Give you that. And Ricky.
-
Name five better RBs for us than Castagne. You can have 50 years of our history and you'll be struggling. I don't mind differing opinions, but the way this guy, this FA Cup winner gets dissed and disrespected on here - I'm not having a go at you @Legend_in_blue - is crazy. It might be a long time til we see his skill level at FB for us again. That's if we ever play with FBs again!

I think @LinekersLugs was being a pedant? We’re not in the Premier League therefore none of our players are PL players…
-
He didn’t come from Brighton!
-
I did. You missed it?

Finnily enough, I was in Molde only a few weeks ago, staying in a hotel right by the stadium. Though that’s not really relevant, is it? #humblebrag
-
That’s the general idea

I really wouldn't sell him unless silly money were being bandied about. There's been no sign so far of Vardy being suited to Maresca-ball, and if he isn't, Daka won't be.
-
if he wants to continue playing for Wales he needs either a starting role in the top two leagues, or back-up with rotation games in the PL. And to get either, he'll need to accept (or be persuaded to accept) a massive pay cut.

Erm. The east coast of S America features just shy of 3000 miles of Chile. And none at all of Argentina 🤷🏽 -
Casemiro? Casemiro?!?! FFS!

Happy to bring a global perspective to the Big Strong Leicester Boys any time Ric! -

Point of order? Patagonia is not a region of Argentina. It’s a region of South America that straddles Argentina and Chile. And it’s bigger than most European countries. -
Thank dog?

I feel we’re better off shifting him now - we’ll get more money/have to throw less at it - and ‘’making do’ til Coady’s fit. Faes did ok in that role v Burton
-
The rub being he's out of contract next summer. He is an able deputy for Coady, but we sell this window if it's even remotely possible
-
😉
-
Wasn’t he poor? Imperious last week, sloppy and casual throughout. Did he think he’d cracked it at this level last week?
-
I can say with some confidence that this is the poorest Leicester side ever to win its first four competitive matches of a season…
-
To be fair, I’m pretty sure you’ve said it over a thousand times now An?
