  1. Bought the Mrs a quite expensive advent calendar and surprised her with it yesterday. She hadn't got me one, but today, she has more than redeemed herself by getting me this... Yes, that is Hans Gruber falling from the Nakatomi Plaza, counting down the days to Xmas
  2. Did you watch us against Sheffield Wednesday?
  3. Southampton lead.
  4. I mean, Mario Balotelli isn't someone I'd totally trust as a judge of character, but I'm willing to give him the benefit of doubt on this one
  5. Devastating counter attack. Nestergaard, Iheanacho, Dewsbury-Hall, Winks. Perfection.
  6. Great tackle by Faes, with his head
  7. No graphics? There's definitely graphics
  8. Here we go! Its on sky. No graphics or replays though.
  9. The tradition continues
  10. Him and his wife are expecting a baby soon. Hopefully everything is well and he's preoccupied changing nappies!
  11. Just take solace in the fact you'd beat him in a putt off Reckon he'd need to have a bag full of tampons if you pair had a round together though
  12. Happy birthday for yesterday! And happy birthday @Stadt
  13. Everyone still saying they wouldn't take second place?
  14. Got exactly what we deserved. Utter shit tonight.
  15. Utter shambles at the back. Should be about 5 behind.
  16. Yes! We should do it.
  17. Well I knew his first name, but I went with Farouq. My Mrs is a social worker, looking after asylum claiming children. She quickly recognised it as a fairly common Farsi name, mainly used in Iran and came up with the correct spelling of Farrokh. She has her uses. Occasionally
  18. Correct surname. Not first name.
  19. Drove back from the Cotswolds yesterday and a huge crack appeared in the windscreen. It was really surreal. Driving along and this crack grew and grew across the glass, almost like an invisible pen was drawing a line. Stopped, spoke to the insurance and had it replaced this afternoon. Very painless and very impressed with the service. 60 quid excess is all it cost.
  20. Another quiz win on a Monday night! That's 3 out of 4. Notorious P.I.G are becoming the dominant force. The difference tonight was the 5 bonus points on offer for spelling Freddie Mercury's birth name correctly. We were the only one's who did it. Big shout out to my Mrs who works in an immigration role
  21. You might be right with the par 3 over the lake. I think 17 is a shortish par 4 too, just over 300 yards? They're currently making everyone play the 10th first, because they allow trollies on that 9, 1 to 9 is carry only. You've made me feel better about my chipping! Definitely worth playing. I'll go again in the summer. You'd get some serious roll on some fairways. Stopping dead today, just falling short of plugging.
  22. Yeah, pretty much spot on. There was a 540ish yard par 5, straight as a die. Looked horrendous, especially is this weather, with no roll. And it was That 18th is glorious though. Stone Bridge to the right, short par 4. I ALMOST drove it. About 15 yards short. Then duffed a chip and 2 putted Want to play it in the summer. That 17th par 3 over the lake is very daunting. But in this weather, greens were very receptable, so swings and roundabouts.
  23. Was his similar to Petr Cech's? I know it's a totally different position, but Cech remained one of the best in the world for many years after his freak accident.
