Come on lads, accept it. This has all the hallmarks....

The lack of loans in recent years is on the club. As I've said, it's an art to build the reputation to get players out on loan. We'd done this fairly well several years ago. Championship clubs queue up to take players from Premier League academies that have less pedigree than Braybrooke. But as I've said that's likely to be reputation based, it's so easy for some of the bigger PL clubs to do this as others are so blinkered in their thinking that they must be good and they'll take them. It helps that some of these clubs give these players minutes in cups and other games to expose them and that drives interest too. Anyway, Braybrooke says he had other options so maybe he did have Championship and League One interest and this was his decision so fair enough.

Strong hair line, makes up for the receding numbers on Oliver Skipp and Jordan Ayew. Debut goal vs Villa like the last wizard Tete?

Excellent news. Really looking forward to seeing him play. His ball carrying, ball progression and creativity stats are off the charts.

I will not be shocked come tomorrow if that narrative changes to us having extremely limited funds and therefore it's unlikely.

The links have gone cold on strikers for weeks now. Done all our bunce.

Hahaha no I didn't. I reckon we're on for £5-10m for Nyoni surely? Noubissie I think it was reported that Man City paid us north of a million or so and was amicable. -

Wow, really thought he still had plenty left to give but fair play to him. Go enjoy whatever it is you do next pal! Legend -
Celtic are getting Alvyn Sanchez for £4m. Will be interesting to see how he gets on. He was very good last season. They sign Odin Holm last summer and he's done nothing so far.

Who do you want for next season in the PL
Ric Flair replied to Fightforever's topic in Transfer Talk
Benkovic became known a couple of days before deadline as he was holed up in the Marriott Hotel. We were in for Chris Mepham and then thr day before deadline it was revealed we were making a late attempt to get Soyuncu despite the calibre of clubs he'd previously been linked with. -

It's likely any player/s we do sign between now and 11pm tomorrow night will be known to some degree by some point today. I don't recall too many complete shocks on deadline day for us. Dyer and Dragovic possibly. -
I mean the tweet literally says they do (#OL) but Monaco are trying the most.

Bringing this back. He's scored again tonight but they've been knocked out the Champions League qualifiers. Throw everything we have left at him. -

Looking at available strikers and Luka Jovic or Andre Silva are probably the most obvious two who have thr ability to either shoot the lights out at a club or be utter horse muck. -
Could get them to pay £20m for Soumare and us pay £20m for Gift Orban who they want to move on. He was electric at Gent.

Reckon he'll take 11

Been captain of most his age groups with England, us failing to drum up interest is on us as much as anything else. It's an art that once the reputation is set, makes the job much easier to get loan moved arranged.
-
Yesh, can see why it might need to be a loan with obligation rather than a loan with an option, reason being the latter will often incur a sizeable loam fee to cover the other clubs amortised value for the year of the player or a replacement which is often no different to buying the player outright in PSR terms. With an obligation though we can agree a very small loan feel that barely registers for PSR for this year and then load it in to the permanent transfer from the year after.

Oh god

Hahahahahahahahaa that's like quoting every current player in our squad that we've signed at some point under the bracket of " new signings ". 7 academy players, of which Choudhury, Thomas and Iversen are all in their mid twenties and/or been established and around for years. McAteer is also established here, so this argument is extremely weak.

Cooper had him at Swansea, I really thought we'd be in for him this summer too.

Looks like Southampton are getting Yuri Alberto from Corinthians. I'd have been happy if we took a punt on him.
