I get the alternative view point, and you're right really about what part Leicester play in the wider context of this. It's awash with juggernaut corporations and industries and countries identities that it needs to be higher up that force it, but I suppose it's wishful thinking that our club might join a small group of clubs that are already taking a stand.

It's about context, this topic is close to me after what I've been through but I try and keep a neutral stance as much as possible. But the whole industry is running riot and very little is being done about it. The stats involving children and gambling are scary and as I've said, a lot of it stems from the culture of gaming and the companies are using platforms and algorithms used to entice gambling. It's a conveyor belt and it's deliberate. I'm a father and that's horrifying, I'm also a recovering compulsive gambler and it's tragic that the industry is given so much freedom to do what they want with something that devastates not just the problem gambler but everyone and everything around them. Gambling shouldn't be banned, that's oppressive and unnecessary but there needs to be more control about how it is facilitated. I could tell you some of the sick stunts these companies pull when they lock on to a said problem gambler, it's a disgrace. In any other walk of life it would be tantamount to a serious crime and yet whilst the industry creates millions in tax I'm sure they'll conveniently kick the issue down the road and pay lip service to the public.

You say that but a lot of games that are created to entice children in to playing, use the platform and principles of gambling. What's also scary is some of these companies are gambling companies, they're using similar algorithms. The gambling epidemic does not just start when people are adults. So with all due respect you're incorrect.

Whilst he doesn't score loads, he's got really good composure in front of goal. This is a solid piece of business.

He would be a risk after doing his knee part way through last season but I'd been following Rafiu Durosinmi from Viktoria Plzen. Purely because I'd spotted his goals and assists numbers and with his skill set he got my attention. Would not cost much, but we could perhaps even tempt them with a sizeable loan fee and option to buy as insurance in case injuries hamper him further.

3-4-2-1 or a variation of 3 at the back makes the best use of this squad. I do think we could stumble across the right ingredients to get through tonight and put ourselves in with a boxers chance of going all the way. As a recovering compulsive gambler this is extremely disappointing. I'm not against the act if gambling, the overwhelming majority of the world can do so without it devastating those and their families lives but it's the carte blanche a lot of these companies have in doing what they want. It's a free transfer, I've been hammering the club for not doing enough of these over the years whilst we've let many go. He actually had a good season last year. On the flip side though we've had many one off results with honking players so it takes a bit more than that to get consistency out of players with fundamental weaknesses. This signing on the face of it just seems a but odd. I don't know much about him so I will absolutely reserve judgement in his ability here. But when we already have 5 CBs, one of which is our future in Ben Nelson. Any addition I'd expect to be a logical addition. They'd be left footed, comfortable on the ball and they'd be very quick. He's neither of those things, he appears adept to playing LCB but right footed (not ideal but ok) and his passing stats look very mediocre (can be swayed by the team and system - he was at a relegated team). Pace wise he seems nothing more than above average. Got to trust the process on this one it seems. Surely one of Faes, Coady or Souttar are off then.

If we are going to 3 at the back we need at least another 2 wing backs, I don't trust Ricardo and Justin to be able to play that role week in, week out in the Prem.
