Looks like you're correct pal! -
Same, however finishing top 2 and then going back to attempting it again and again will quickly lose enthusiasm IMO. Plus the brutal nature of maintaining a quality squad at this level requires a business model we don't currently have. We need to be out of this league as quickly as possible, whether we thrn come back down again soon where we have to be more sustainable longer term is another matter.

Very reminiscent of the Akgün and Fatawu transfers this is.

Not heard anything mate, was rather hoping we might get an update from: @ramadaone @Holly B -
That's 5 days after we're due to play Leeds?
-
All depends on how we approach the game, it'll be a test but our rotated team is still capable of beating the majority of this league. I think it'll be a 3-2 win again.

Nanasi is the logical choice for me but please type of talented and modestly priced players that would be suitable.

We have 2, as Casadei went back.

Recording BSLB tonight around 9ish, will be live on twitter as well. -
Agreed, a LW is definitely a short to medium term priority. Shame Alves hasn't been able to get fit yet.

Huge talent is Briggs, he's right up there with Alves for technical ability. A left footed attacking midfielder, him and Alves as a combo could be deadly in years to come. -
They managed to sign Perez and he was on more than Kelechi is on now.

It's pretty meaningless considering 5th and 6th have changed places with a lot of teams between 8th down to about 12th. I really want us to get the scalp of Leeds or Southampton (again) but truth be told, if they don't beat us then that's a worse result for them than it is us. The Ipswich points thrown away irk me but it'll lessen if we go and do what we've been so good at and far better than any other challenger, is be too strong for the rest of the league and pick up 12+ points from our next 5 league games. Our record from 12th downwards is played 16 won 15 and drew 1. It is beyond words.
-
That's not true is it. If anything we've become more counter attacking, the early part of the season bar Southampton away who played suicidal foot all against us, was so contained and rigid. Since losing to Leeds and Middlesborough we regrouped in the international break and came back with a determination to press more from the front which naturally creates more counter attacks. A good chunk of our goals and largely decent results across that stretch have come from a mix of play.
-
They'll keep it until the final 5-10 games and then let's see Brussell's ability, their run of games at the end of the season is horrifying. I think they get done on the line by Leeds.
-
Leeds are very boring at the min, but fair play they're grinding out some wins.

It's been a bit chaotic the last week or two. Trying to sort one ASAP. -
If he somehow stays fit, this is an extraordinary signing. His technical ability is light years ahead of anything we currently possess.

Scored an unreal diving header for Inter a few years ago. Proper nut buzzer

Need to get back to the late summer drinking vibe, sun downers and winning ourselves late on week in, week out.

If we go up and Ndidi signs a new deal, I don't see why Winks and Ndidi in a double pivot can't work. Ndidi is an exceptional ball winner and I hope this season has enabled him to regain his momentum and stamina to play that role. The question is whether Emzo would use him in that role, if he doesn't and sticks with just Winks then we will be exposed badly.
