Had some form of flu/infection that my inhaler and medication are resistant to. Terrific. Been prescribed something that should sort it but my chemists have tucked me up last week and claimed they couldn't get the medication until next week. I have seen a message on my phone from them though saying it was ready to collect. Arseholes. My running is in tatters at the minute. Did Abbey Park park run yesterday and nearly snuffed it. -
As next in line replacement for Skipp or James then I'd expect him to get 10-15 appearances between now and the end of the season. I don't think his development is stunted by that over playing every game for Newport, although Cifuentes has not managed to get a single player to prosper bar possibly James so perhaps you're right there 😂

Or his contract is up in 18 months, we wait until the summer and we could be in League One anyway and a fight to keep him. Also the alternatives between now and end of May are Winks and Soumare. No thank you.

Yeah the timelines don't fit Villa really given Cantona didn't hit his peak until after '92 -

Recording tonight, booked you a treat of a guest. -
At what point does this behaviour move from supporting your team through the tough times to aiding and abetting? Extraordinary.

I have had foot issues not too dissimilar and mine is peroneal tendonitis. Yours sounds like it would be collapsed arch, book in and see a physio ASAP and they will sort. -
Scathing write up on us and absolutely bang on, especially the bit about our disgraceful fans staying behind to clap them off.

Definitely needs another loan and an injury free period whilst there. -
You seem to save your postings largely to criticise young players though and sneering at folk for praising milestones as young players make their way in the game. I am most certainly not mild measured when it comes to championing academy players, but you are most definitely the other end of the spectrum 😂 Would you bollock a kid for getting spaghetti bolognese round their gob as they hone the craft an'all? NOT GOOD ENOUGH LITTLE GARRY

He was dog shit yesterday, there you go. I don't tend to point it out because it doesn't need pointing out. To date in the 7 games he's played, he's been extremely poor 1st half vs Huddersfield and then 2nd half was fine but the spotlight was on him. Then wilderness for 3 months before coming in and was very good vs Middlesborough, can't really rate him vs Norwich as went off early but had started calm and assured. Superb vs Derby, good 1st half vs Bristol City although must admit the camera angle made it hard to judge any of them as clearances and passes sometimes looked shit even though they reached their target and good and was given away etc, that angle should be banned, it's awful. Ipswich he was steady and then awful yesterday. Doing absolutely fine in a car crash of a team. Huge future in the game, probably not with us as we stink.

I am 100% in the Ben Nelson fan club but you can't objectively post stuff like this dismissing some of his performances so far when you've got his own manager calling him outstanding vs Derby, Matt Piper and Matt Elliott both giving him MOTM in that game over the likes of James and Reid etc. He was our best defender vs Middlesborough as well.
-
Ben Nelson is not slow, cannot wait until he plays with a defender than is not criminally slow and doesn't get tarnished with the same brush.
-
Hahaha fair play to him, we won 1 nil with him on the pitch 😂
-
The manner of these 1st half capitulations are mind blowing. A manager doesn't fix this, he will never do anything here but further the decline. Is he the biggest problem? From those in control of what happens on the pitch, 100% At the club in general, no that's those above him that we likely continue this one way ticket to the lowest point in our history and certainly worse than how they found us. Does not excuse persisting with the manager though. But it would not be a cause for celebration when he invariably does go as the focus turns on seeing replacements to the majority of the board, execs and the biggest problem - the owner. ALL MUST GO.
