E-bike twats attired in ninja gear. F**k right off with your toy scooters on the pavement. Utter embarrassment.

Unfortunately true...and we all know who the usual suspects are.

I'm not joking either. My post is unbelievably precisely what SSE advised customers to do during the last hike in fuel bills.

You can save on energy bills by simply turning off your heating and cuddling pets, doing star jumps and eating hot porridge.

Ruud awakening for the Premier League!
SpacedX replied to DJ Barry Hammond's topic in Leicester City Forum
Whilst the new manager bounce back is possible, it will take time to adapt and to engender a workable system during training and tactics on field that were sorely lacking. There will inevitably be losses at which point the usual suspects in the match threads will immediately turn on the new manager, the usual vitriol and negativity re-emerges and the "get out of my club" merchants will already have their pitchforks primed before a ball has been kicked in anger. We appointed him not because of his short spell at PSV Eindhoven in which he won the Dutch cup, but his potential...and, the lack of compensation made him a very attractive prospect right now. Perhaps one of the reasons that he wasn't really in the running at United was that the memory of Solskjær still looms large. My hope is that the man who recently presided over putting seven goals past us in under a fortnight at least appreciates our defensive frailty and how to fix it whilst ushering in an optimistic and fluid attacking brand of football that we all crave. -
And he walked out on them in July 16th, 1968 unable to endure the toxic 'White Album' sessions any longer. He did return though for the recording of 'Abbey Road' the following summer and 'The Ballad of John and Yoko'. I highly recommend his book, 'Here There and Everywhere'.

One of Nev's most common sayings was "well, you have to say..." I recall listening to a dismal performance away to Oldham in the early 90s and Nev went, "well...you have to say, City...." followed by a despairing groan and trailing off into a resigned, disbelieving, speechless silence. We were so shit, words failed him. I wish that would happen to some of those goons on the match day thread. Always came across as a thoroughly decent bloke and for years the voice of away games that I couldn't get to whilst at University.

There can be no true beauty without decay.

...Until the next one. Whereupon, the polls, the threads and the obsessive vitriol will all start again. He wasn't the worst manager that we ever had by a long stretch, but it was a dreadful, dismal appointment given our circumstances and it was immediately evident that he was completely out of his depth in every respect. He should be managing a league one outfit and I would wish him every success in doing so.

The fact that they removed 2,000 tiles to evaluate tolerances during reentry is not only astonishing from an engineering standpoint, but hugely significant in terms of potential payload weight gain.

Guinness was traditionally served from wooden casks until the late 1950s. It at least used to be brewed over here in Park Royal where I once worked, but it was all consolidated in St James Gate. As I understand it, Diageo plan to open a 50,000 sq ft micro brewery and culture hub in Covent Garden next year.

I do agree Not sure that would work at Premier League level though.

I'm guessing that the irony was intentional?

I know, I quoted you. It was a joke, but you took it literally

The current Vice President is a voracious reader of English literature, political science and economics. The incoming Vice President favours books by Heritage Foundation leader Kevin Roberts and far-right nutsack/conspiracy theorist Jack Posobiec.
