The way he applauded (sarcastically) the Brum fans and then the rest of the stadium when he was subbed off yesterday, looked to me like he knew that might be his last ever FA Cup game at the KP. I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if he retires at the end of the season.

It's a lot down to Man U that the FA Cup started to lose it's magic. When they withdrew from the competition in 99/00 to play in the FIFA club world cup it was a travesty. I know they were under pressure from the FA and government to play in the FIFA comp as we were bidding for the '06 WC, but it did irreversible damage to the FA Cup.

Took my two teenage kids today in SK1. Was my daughters first game and to my surprise she absolutely loved and wants to go again. She nearly pissed herself laughing with the "is there a fire drill" chant Thought the atmosphere was pretty good all game. Noticed today there seemed to be less of a reliance of the UFS boys to get songs started. Various groups around us were getting things going and everyone joined in which was great. Overall thoroughly enjoyed it and only £35 for the three of us was decent vfm. P.S. Thought B'Ham were very poor considering the numbers they brought.

Brilliant to hear his name sang so much today. Thought he looked genuinely touched as he went over to take a corner and was clapping the ball in appreciation. His cross to Vardy was a thing of beauty and yet again he put a 100% shift in today. Never gets the accolades but never lets us down. Approaching legendry status for me.

I'm 50 and will be in SK1 with my two teenagers on Saturday singing our hearts out. There's people older than me in there who sing more than some of the younger ones do. Like you say, it's really varied.

We have the opportunity to win three competitions at the start of each season. Are you saying we just don't bother entering the two cup's? Some of my best memories of being a Leicester fan are wining the League Cup and FA Cup. I'm not writing off an FA Cup run just because we're seven points clear at the top.
