Rural Bucks in a village between Buckingham and Aylesbury. Our current agent contract expires in three weeks so we’ll probably take it off the market then and wait until next spring/summer to try again.

What's interesting is that we had more interest/viewings this time last year when our house was priced nearly 20% higher than it is now. We were advised to be aggressive on price and reduce significantly (which we have) but still no joy. There's dozens of properties in our village which have been on the market for over a year and all have been reduced. Hardly anything is selling down here and the local market seems to have ground to a halt.

Ours has been on and off the market for the last 12 months with 3 different agents, we're desperate to move to a newer/bigger house. Despite lowering the price and having numerous viewings, we've had no solid offers. There's 56 properties for sale in our small village but nothings shifting for whatever reasons...

Been reading/watching about Ed Slater and his MND recently. Here's his podcast with Jim Hamilton 2 years ago and then on BBC with Billy 12 trees a few months ago. How he's deteriorated is so sad. What a fvckin horrible disease.

Tried that initially but the old taps are over 30 years old, falling to bits, and look shit. Total cost of tools and new taps was less than £40 so can't complain.

I'm proper shit at DIY, always have been. Wife and kids been moaning about old dripping taps in the bathroom so I decided to replace them without paying for a plumber this time . Bought new taps, tap spanner, basin wrench etc, got on YouTube and followed the video. Job done and I didn't flood the house in the process. Unbelievably proud of myself TBQH
