  1. bloody hell thank you Netflix - and of course everyone Vardy - youve brought a grown man to tears - AGAIN. I feel so lucky that Jamie chose us. The current shit show that is Leicester can hang their heads in shame.
  2. 50p head daka strikes again
  3. clean sheet **** off
  4. the delay in announcing the deal suggests that Rowett knows we are desparate, knows Rudkin is poor at negotiating sensible deals so is probably looking to have our pants down and ask for something slightly outrageous to see if we blink. If it isnt announced by close of business today then prepare to be very worried - if you werent already
  5. So when does Rowett get officially announced - nothing on club site or bbc or sky sports etc
  6. If Boro and Ipswich dont put at least 5 past us i will be shocked - we are getting nicely set up to write history for biggest defeat since WW2
  7. run the ****ers up and down old john or get Jock Wallaces old builder to deliver a ton of sand to seagrave and make a nice hill they can run up and down.
  8. no - King should resign - not a manager not his fault. Get rudkin in the dugout to feel the disdain that we all have for him
  9. Back in the days of Imperial Rome when the legion effed up then they would kill one in every 10 men - to encourage the others to try harder next time. Thats the only way to get out of this mess - shoot em. If King had any pride he would just resign and say to rudkin go on son get yourself in the dugout its your time to shine.
  10. Ipswich away late 80's - first away game with my new girlfriend later wife - she wanted to know why i disappeared every Saturday. Told her it might get a bit liveley but she just wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Those were the days of being caged in. It was my first sighting of Hari Krishnas emerging out of the home ends main stand and having running battles all along the side of the pitch and being chased by german shepherds into the away end. They opened the cage to let them in and the german shepherds duly wandered in too - there was a mini riot and of course we were down the front of cage just in front of the first bar of the standing area so my little darling didnt get squashed when the crowd surged - just had to put up with dogs and coppers in your face. Needless to say the girlfriend thought it was a hoot and wanted to know when we could go again. We were crap then but god it was fun - fast foward to today and the yougsters wouldnt understand what you are going on about.
  11. Takes me back to the home game with oxford and Tony James scores the winner - to send west brom down. Couldnt happen again could it only this time it will be jordan james delivering the coup de grace
  12. Any chance we might hear something/anything from Rudkin now to even attempt to explain the situation from the clubs point of view. Absolutely no point in Top doing anything as he can barely string a sentence together. Come on Johnny boy its moments like this that you get paid the big bucks for - stop hiding in the shadows and show your worth - or would that make it all too obvious that you should never ever have been anywhere near such responsibility. Its already clear Top is incompetent we just need Mr Rudkin to confirm his credentials. i will get me coat
  13. oops - just assumed 3pm ko as not been this year - no season ticket for me first time in 20 years
  14. We could employ jesus as our next manager and he wouldnt be capable of getting the useless bunch of wasters that we have as our players show one ounce of fight and togetherness and spirit - they have no professional pride - if they did they wouldnt show up for one half of a game and then be inept in the other half - they only try when it suits them - which isnt often. The deduction would galvanise any other fan base and group of players - forest and everton made a positive show that they realised it was now all down to the players - our bunch of shrinking violets will just be looking for the exit door and their next pay cheque - bloody hell i hate them all
  15. I wont set foot inside the stadium again until king power have gone (which after 45 years of attending is a sad state of affairs) but i am happy to stand outside and protest - what time before norwich ko is it starting up ? Is 1pm too soon to show up ?
  16. Its been years since i re lived the day so indulged myself watching you tube clips of bocelli and ranieri on the podium and polich it off with a trophy lift - i had forgotten what it was like to celebrate lol. If it brings a tear to the eye and a choke in the back of my throat and i was only an innocent observer god knows how the players must feel. Who are we to deny their moment of immortality - celebrate the hell out of it. League one will be with us soon enough
  17. On sky bet they will only give you 100/30 on us getting relegated - oxford are considered certainties for the drop - not from what i can see from Saturdays showing. Bloody hell even norwich and west brom are 7/1
  18. Have i got this clear - the protest planned is not to occupy seats until minute 14 - then after that what - just standard booing ? And no protest outside the players entrance before or after match ?. If there was something akin to planned vocal protest outside the ground i will turn up for that but i am not parting with any money to go into the ground until the whole lot is exorcised.
  19. Just asking well in advance. I am an ex season ticket holder - gave it up at the end of last season and vowed not to spend another penny until change happens. If there is something likely to take place in the ground or outside i would happily pay £20 to join in.
  20. So glad i didnt renew my season ticket this time around so no difficult choice to make about sitting in the freezing cold and being miserable or sitting in front of a blazing fire and watching it on tv - and still being miserable lol. I am opting for just watching the open flames on their own - far more satisfying.
  21. I gave mine up for this season and told myself i wasnt going to give a toss what LCFC did this year. I find myself weakening every so often sneaking a peak at the league table and catching the odd few minutes of champo roundups if i get in late on a saturday night. Seeing where we are after the latest result I am feeling guilty for not really caring but then i remind myself the utter shit served up against wolves, brentford et al last season just did my head in. I will make a conscious effort to sit through 90 minutes against derby on ITV in december and that will be my first taste of watching us "live". If they dont serve up some kind of entertainment and display that they give a shit then that is me done for the season. I really want to give a shit but they are not making it easy. Anyone else feeling guilty ? Please dont come at me and tell me i am not a true supporter - i was a season ticket holder for mclintocks one season of misery - i didnt think it could get worse than that but last season topped it. I didnt return as a season ticket holder until brian little turned up - i dont want to go that long again as i am 64 and dont have that many years left in me lol!
  22. well i didnt renew my season ticket because got tired of seeing overpaid disinterested lazy players just giving up - so i gave up too. And they are all still here this season and being picked to play. Glad i am not there
  23. Didnt renew - sick of watching millionaires not giving a shit. It may change next xeason but i doubt it. I will happily pop in for a couple of games next season if the tean are showing any kind of fight but until then i have better things to do with my money ayears gym membership for me and the missus versus cost of season ticket - its a no brainer and i know which will leave me feeling better pysicaally and emotionally. I have given up my season ticket three rimws in the past after traumatic relegations under McLintock, Taylor and Holloway. I returned eventually under a team and manager that deserved my support in brian Little and then pearson on his second time around. To me there is life outside of not being a season ticket holder although you do wonder at the time is it the right thing to do. Not feeling obliged to go down Filbo regularly to watch teams under Pleat and Levein was blessed relief. I may be back fulltime in the future but by god the team will have to earn my trust again - i dont do blind loyalty.
  24. well i was just getting ready to set out for the match but thought i should check my emails - imagine my surprise to see that my seat has sold. From all the doomsters on this thread i just assumed no sane person would part with £39 for my seat in C2. Time to crack open the port and enjoy a leisurely drink in the afternoon sun - got to be more fun than a drive up the m1
