Betfair now not appearing on oddschecker could it be they have suspended betting on RVN
-
Given Top seems to be taking a much more involved role in the last few days I wonder if the farcical appointment of Cooper by Rudkin and now this shite show with BC Game could mean the end for both Rudders and Whelan.
-
-
There is a rumour on X from someone who said Cooper was a goner and also saying it’s RVN, that they believe Rudkin left yesterday
-
RVN now odds on with every bookie on oddschecker with 1/5 on betfair. also lad who posted on X last week that Cooper was a goner has just posted its Ruud.

Posts like this could literally break Foxestalk

I think usual protocol will be that Rudkin advises on the proposed manager and Tops signs it off, clearly this time he had reservations about Cooper, maybe Rudkin was that convinced by Cooper he put his reputation and job on the line and as a consequence when it was evident it was a car crash of an appointment, Top stepped in and got rid.
-
Not my first choice but I think Rosenior is a decent manager, did really well with Hull last season to have them anywhere near play off contention for so long. The fact they are now languishing in the bottom 6 shows he has more than a bit about him, not sure he is the right person at this stage though.
-
This lad has been pretty much on the money with info regarding Cooper. So if his contact is right looks like it will be RVN and announced by tomorrow and rising tensions with Rudkin and Whelan.
-
I am not sure Rudkin is as involved in this process as he was in recruiting Cooper.
-
The club kept their cards very close to there chest that there wasn’t even a murmur that Cooper may or had lost his job yesterday until the official announcement, therefore I have no doubt the same closed shop is being applied to the managerial appointment therefore nobody really has anything concrete to share, most of the media reports are conjecture and anything confirmed to date will have come via intermediaries distancing their clients from the role as they clearly are not being seriously considered. I truly believe the club has 2/3 cast iron targets that have been sounded out over the last couple of weeks and the final touches are being finalised and we will have news over the next couple of days and I think it may also include the announcement that our esteemed DoF will be leaving the club in the summer. The stores in the media suggest Cooper wasn’t his choice and also it was his decision to sack Cooper whilst he will also the lead the recruitment process, meaning he is effectively sidelining Rudkin and I think he has now lost faith in him. I may be wrong but just have an inkling some big changes are afoot.

Sounds like the I’m a celebrity trial announcement 😂
-
I am sure the club said the same regards not having a definite replacement signed up when they sacked Puel and pretty sure Brendan was through the door within the week. players due back in tomorrow, also bear in mind there was not even a ripple that Cooper was gone until the official announcement yesterday afternoon so nothing to say we aren’t a long way down the line hence why certain people are now distancing themselves from the job as we are closing in on our preferred option. I would imagine a lot of the hard yards was done over the last couple of weeks and when it has been widely reported on social media and on here that we have been approaching and sounding out potential replacements. Wouldn’t be shocked if our man is announced by some point tomorrow or Wednesday.

Change In Ownership - Companies House

That was my thoughts gives him autonomy to push on and make decisions and not have to go back for others approval or agreement. Seems like good news to me. -

This could be massive as effectively Top can now run and manage club as he sees fit and perhaps now is not so constrained by having to seek agreement/approval of anyone else. Especially when you consider what he has done yesterday and this ties in with the post regards Top taking control of recruitment process could also be the end of Rudders and possibly even Whelan if Top feels a clear out is needed. -
I am pretty sure it was Top that appointed Enzo, so perhaps he is a bit more clued up than we give him credit for. What I will say is Mickys info is correct then it’s not looking good for Rudkin, if Top does run the recruitment process and is determined to secure Potter then highly likely Rudders will be sacrificed as leverage to get the number 1 target.
-
Also it has been reported that his removal was Top’s decision and Top’s decision only, does this mean that Top has bypassed Rudkin in this instance and is taking the lead on this recruitment process. I think it was Top who appointed Enzo as well wasn’t it?

Have a feeling Michael Carrick could be a dark horse

And Ranieri above Pearson, he achieved the absolute impossible.

I really don’t see the issue here, pre arranged Christmas party, let’s be honest 90% of us wanted him gone, I imagine the players felt the same way. Most of us at some stage will have worked for a boss who made their working life tough and unenjoyable, so all I hope is this trip and the news has galvanised the squad to kick on with renewed vigour and freedom.

When he was subbed seemed to have a go at Cooper and his staff -
Moyes is a cracking manager did a wonderful job at Preston, Everton and West Ham, unfairly treated at Man Utd in my opinion and not given a fair crack at what was always going to be a near impossible job of replacing Sir Alex, Sunderland and Sociedad were blots but over a long career there will always be the odd blip, he will be a very good and sound appointment, much like Puel he will steady the ship, stabilise us and over 2/3 seasons hopefully re-establish us as a Premier League club.

I tried to put on a bet after the Vardy rant and couldn’t log into my old Sky bet account absolutely fuming 😂😂 -
Moyes would be a great appointment, not sure i agree that the playing style is that poor under him, it’s not tippy tappy but his West Ham side weren’t the worse side to watch. i think he would come in stabilise us and make us competitive again.
