  1. I might be wrong but pretty sure the Stockport DoF recently left to take up a similar role at Wednesday which might be what is driving the links
  2. Really hope so đŸ€žđŸŒ
  3. Agreed it’s such short term thinking. Don’t want to pay compensation but then happy to keep sacking poor appointments and spending a small fortune in pay offs. Surely the best option is find the best available candidate and hopefully have someone in place for 2/3 seasons who delivers success. we don’t want to pay compensation to clubs so miss out on the likes of Corberon and Rohl to appoint the likes of Cooper, RVN and Cifuentes, because they are cheap free and available and end up getting relegated twice in a row, whilst throwing money about on dross like BDCR, Ayew, Eduoard, Skipp, Carranza, Aribo etc. When will the penny drop and the people in power realise it’s false economies, get the right manager in and give him the power and support to rebuild and it all changes. The likes of Challinor, Fuchs etc won’t be on big money and by default won’t have massive release clauses. Hire the wrong man which we will most likely do if we continue to shop in the bargain basement and we will be shelling out a lot more in pay offs before the season is out.
  4. He is nothing more than a deflection tactic to take the heat off Rudkin
  5. Good luck today Ric great effort for an amazing cause
  6. Club have missed a golden opportunity to use this game to launch the new home kit, straight away it removes any link from last seasons failures, offers the opportunity to launch it with loads of positivity, would have probably led to a big increase in attendance and you could use some of the premier league winners alongside some of the brighter academy players for the promo shoots with a slogan/tagline such as - “They Made History. You Write the Next Chapter.” there you go Anthony you can have that fecker for free

if only you had answered my numerous emails offering consultancy support but hey ho đŸ€Ł
  7. Not overly enamoured if it is Martin, although really don’t think we would have got relegated if he had been appointed last season. The bigger concern for me if he is appointed, McCarron has zero influence in his role and clearly the big decisions will still sit with Aiyawatt and Rudkin and despite 3 relegations in 4 years we are continuing to double down on this style of play.
  8. This is something that has to change, there is a clear pattern of good people who care deeply for the club, who challenge and are then dispensed with. As a result the standards and culture have dropped off the edge of a cliff and we are now in league one with the club in absolute tatters. if that doesn’t provide further evidence that too many in senior roles at the club are making decisions based around self preservation rather than the very best interests of the club then I don’t know what does. Absolutely rotten to the core.
  9. If I leave in 5 minutes I should beat the crowds leaving on 75 minutes
  10. Has to be back involved with the club in some capacity, as some many have send he was the ultimate professional, held the highest standards and most importantly held everybody to account. if the club is serious about trying to get back to where we have been then people like Kasper have to be at the heart of the rebuild. No chance Rudkin gives him a senior role so over to you Aiyawatt, make the call and start the overhaul.
  11. If we do have one in place good chance it will be announced this week once Aiyawatt is in the country for the 5000/1 match.
  12. Interesting that the club didn’t also take the opportunity to say Rowett, Davidson and Sadler would also be leaving at the end of their short term contracts.
  13. Would not be shocked if stance has softened, we are so far away from the premier league and it does make you wonder if Aiyawatt and KP have decided enough is enough. The kudos of playing the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal, Man City etc is a distant memory and there will be little to no interest in us playing the likes of Bromley, Barnsley, Mansfield, Leyton Orient etc. Given Top has been less and less visible at the club, I don’t believe there is even the emotional connection any more, I know people reference it’s where Vichai passed but if anything I would say that must be harder to see and visit each time. I am hopeful that this is the beginning of what will be a brighter future and the start of some meaningful change over the next couple of years.
  14. Doesn’t have to have deep pockets, would happily take a good sound business person making good decisions and creating a good environment, culture and environment.
  15. Hopefully it’s Martin’s agent leaking the story and using us as leverage to maybe push Watford and Blackburn interest, wouldn’t be overly shocked to see him go back to Southampton once they fire off Eckert.
  16. But how dare we be worried or criticise we should be eternally grateful to King Power not question anything and be careful what we wish for

  17. Agreed the other instances they have admitted to it they didn’t win, it’s such a coincidence and admission of those games to try and say it doesn’t have an impact. Imagine if they admitted to it multiple times it would and could have massive ramifications for the integrity of the entire championship season.
  18. Agreed, in reality we are not going to receive regular updates on how are search for a new manager is progressing, however there is absolutely no reason whatsoever that there shouldn’t have been an announcement in regards to Rowett, Davidson and Sadler all leaving at the end of their short term deals, thanking them for there efforts and also equally baffling is the lack of confirmation as to the players out of contract who will be leaving at the end of their contracts. Yet again it demonstrates a clear disregard towards the fanbase and a determination to continue to not communicate and drive the disconnect even deeper.
  19. The all star team will most likely be a collection of former premier league players who played against during the 2015-16 season.
  20. Don’t understand why an interim or short term deal would run until end of June surely it would conclude end of May at very latest if not earlier given our final league game was early May.
  21. Agree to a point but in general the adidas templates are pretty boring
  22. The concerning part of all this is the lack of basic understanding that these continued poor commercial decisions is driving a massive disconnect with your fanbase, which becomes such a huge problem and financial hit to the club the further you drop. Awful decisions regards sticking with Adidas for the ‘prestige’ when they churn out dog shit template kits, our continued pursuit of morally bankrupt partnerships with random and obscure betting/crypto companies, our ticketing policies, the way the genuine fans have been treated on important days like the championship trophy day when the pitch was taken over by day trippers, guests and influencers, the political messaging at the pre season friendly and the ongoing transition of the stadium branding from LCFC to KPFC. All the above have contributed to the disconnect of so many of the legacy fanbase, the disconnect is massively affecting the commercial revenues of the club, matchdays with empty seats, hospitality not full, boycotting of the club shop and merchandise all contribute to drops in revenue and most importantly cash flow. The club need a very sharp wake up call because this forthcoming season, sponsorship, hospitality packages and partnerships will be a lot harder to sell when the quality of opposition has dropped off the edge of a cliff, day trippers and tourist fans will be visiting other more fashionable clubs, so it’s back to the loyal fanbase you have pushed away, because empty seats don’t buy food and drinks, disconnected fans don’t buy replica shirts and merchandise. The next generation of fans and future lifeblood of the club go elsewhere. The club needs to get its act together like yesterday otherwise the future will be very very bleak and a whole generation of Leicester fans could be lost.
  23. I reckon take up has not been good as anticipated, the statement is very specifically worded to avoid giving any indication of what the reason is. However what we do know is for the first time in a very long time it made it to general sale . At the time the renewals were released the club will no doubt, given previous form, will have been in complete denial of the prospect of relegation to league one and therefore never contemplated the impact of dropping into league one. I genuinely think the club are busy number crunching and modelling the impact of implementing a reduction to increase numbers and also preparing refunds or a voucher for the club shop to compensate people who have already committed. My prediction is the new manager will be announced within the next 2 weeks and this will coincide with a relaunch of season tickets at reduced prices, following an ‘internal review’ in the aftermath of relegation.
  24. Last season back in the premier league demonstrated the more revenue generated, the greater the losses and bigger the mistakes we make as a club, our revenue increased by ÂŁ80m and we managed to lose over ÂŁ50m more than the season in the championship signing guff like Skipp, BDCR, Ayew and Eduoard whilst appointing & sacking both Cooper and RvN. Money in the hands of Aiyawatt and crew is a very dangerous thing as there seems to be zero strategy and continue to spend similar levels on inferior players and managers.
